Oh, that was a mistake my part, now that I look at it. I bundled together the different principles, but Ra told of a different shortcuts than becoming totally "empty" (which was presented with Buddha's case).

I think that it is a percieved (how is this correctly written? My spell checker always says it is wrong...) "shortcut", but in reality it must be an incarnation where it was planned ahead that there is a possibility of a full transformation into pure love and "Creator-likeness" in a journey that only takes place inside one's own mind. It is not something that really gets in our heads usually, as the general consensus is that people who just sit down and meditate all day, all their lives are "crazy". They are not, but few of us do know this.

I see. I haven't encountered this concept this far in the books myself, and that is why I asked where in the material I could read about it.
I think that this emptiness/void occurs when catalysts are rejected/separated from the self. When one starts to accept and merge with all that there is, this emptiness/void fills with the realization of the Creator. There is no nothingness/emptiness/void, but love/light/unity/intelligent infinity/Creator, in my understanding.

I had to go back to the original post to see if we are derailing it now, but I don't think that we are
Let's see if I understand you correctly. Do you mean that full transformation/enlightment is something that takes place only in entity's own mind, and that people who meditate all day are considered by others to be "crazy" but these others don't understand that the enlightment through meditation not only affects our own minds? Am I understanding you correctly? If so, then I agree to a point, that perhaps guys like Buddha and others could sit alone all day long and meditate, and then achieve some kind of enlightment, but I think that participating in everyday life, trying to join the activities of this planet, mingle with people here, share their sorrows and suffer, creates the same effect. That is why there are so many Wanderers here, spread all over this planet, with all kind of services to offer. And many of them, whom I know personally, are struggling with meditations. It just doesn't come easy for them, and while they read in every spiritual source how important the meditation is for their own development/well-being, and they perhaps understand it on some rational/logical level, they still can't do it. However, they are here, and they offer their own unique services, and beam their own unique love/light, and indeed brighten up this sphere, more than they even realize most of the times.

I believe that behind this thick veil, that it is indeed an unimaginable greatness, or invaluable opportunity, to understand it's own desires and interests. I have spent much of my current life following dreams, desires and interests of transient nature, and I am very grateful for these experiences. Because I tried so much, and I did so much, and yet found no satisfaction, no peace, no rest. Then some magic happened, and the desires, interests and dreams that I have now, are of the kind that it feels like the path I am walking is once again exactly where it should be. BUT I wouldn't know it if I wouldn't wander about for a while, seeking for that path, and tried other things. If I would always walk the same path, how would I know it is indeed the path I want to take/walk? So, if you feel that you want to do absolutely nothing, and refuse to follow every desire, then go for it, my brother!
