RE: Consciousness Unmoved - drifting pages - 07-25-2011 Very interesting your ideas unity, you do realize they are ideas you acknowledged as valid from your subjective stand point ? And so are mine, this is very interesting indeed, we are different states and view points. I am not necessarily talking about infinity here but, let me see if i got your definition of infinity. "unknowable" "undefinable" "..." "0" Did i get it ? Well you see on my subjective experience when "nothing" can be said about something it is when "everything" can be said about it. Nothing and everything, always unknowable, shifting kaleidoscopic mirror... This is "us" and "me" and reality... RE: Consciousness Unmoved - Heartwork - 08-08-2011 I've always thought this was true, but just assumed so. Many times I feel like a vessel in idle as the world around me warps and progresses onward, however I always feel at the "seat" of what is happening. Consciousness also never moves throughout meditation, it all seems rather fixed in it's total, though still very creative and flowing with regards to what I choose to perceive at that moment. Very hard to put experiences into words. Typical language barrier. That is when I always used to wonder why at all this game or even farce of evolution? What exactly is there to learn? Then I developed the faintest trace of an idea -- we are there probably for the ONE to fulfill its lust. RE: Consciousness Unmoved - zodekai - 08-08-2011 Interesting mover/moved references of previous harvest. The theosophical concept of the first "solar system" and the relation to mind being the goal of that system comes to mind after reading this thread. It is stated that the afore-mentioned system yielded the number five and venus is referenced as well through the fifth ray. |
