Oh goodness do I feel silly.

Alrighty I'll have a crack
"To start with, anything that can be expressed with words."

Well basically the fundamental problem with language is that is the medium for expressing ideas. Now, ideas in themselves are personal constructs, while the words we use to express them are not. That is to say, words are symbolic representations of ideas.
Ah, forgive me I'm rather tired I'll have to do this quickly.

What we express with words is never an exact representation of what we mean. Illusion is a misrepresentation, misperception of experience. I can read the words you say and derive a meaning of what you are saying but I can never know exactly what you mean by them because I don't live in your head. So, anything that will be expressed by words will be at some degree misrepresentation of what is meant, to the perceiver. Thus there is a degree of illusion at every level and form of language.

Adonai - but we can't really use that nifty line when we're going up the steps of light, if you know what i mean.

I have split the off-topic discussion and put it in the Forum Relationships thread.

What I think that means (correct me if I'm misinterpreting) is anything that is entirely outside this illusion, we have no frame of reference for, so it becomes ineffable.

We can't describe a thing as it actually exists (which it naturally does), but only as our limited, distorted experimental abstraction provides. That abstraction is largely based on the 'planetary mind'. And that planetary mind, developmentally, does not allow anything remotely close to a noumenal awareness about things.

Even when people intersubjectively share their pure thoughts of something, it's merely a less distorted view of the same illusion (than that which could be shared using words). If you're not consciously participating in a co-creation with an object of experience then how can its intrinsic nature ever be revealed?

The adept 'lives more and more as it is' because in becoming increasingly conscious of self, more balanced (more acceptance), the adept has done lots of integration of self therefore closer to being 'true self' (well, closer than most). The true self is more boundless, infinite… so it can incorporate the vastitude of understanding of other-self… plus access to deeper parts of mind and so forth… The adept has less need for outer work… just more 'being'. An intersubjective experience of an adept would be quite different then? Their level of knowing is greater bc they've now incorporated more (or realized more, however you term it). Throwing stuff out there lol.

I don't think it's about seeing some 'absolute'/'purely objective' as something 'is', tho much much greater understanding of what's happening.

Quote:75.23 Each entity is the Creator. The entity, as it becomes more and more conscious of its self, gradually comes to the turning point at which it determines to seek either in service to others or in service to self. The seeker becomes the adept when it has balanced with minimal adequacy the energy centers red, orange, yellow, and blue with the addition of the green for the positive, thus moving into indigo work.

The adept then begins to do less of the preliminary or outer work, having to do with function, and begins to effect the inner work which has to do with being. As the adept becomes a more and more consciously crystallized entity it gradually manifests more and more of that which it always has been since before time; that is, the One Infinite Creator.
