Childhood Songs - AnthroHeart - 04-22-2015

I believe certain songs can bring back remembrance of our childhood.
Back to when the world was magical.
We are all part of a neverending story.

Well, that's gonna be in my head all day now.

I actually think 80s pop is going to especially tend to have this effect on people who grew up at that time, since so much of 80s pop was written in second- person. That is, directly referring to the listener with "you" or implied commands to the listener. ("Turn around, look at what you see-eeeee... ") That second-person form can create a strong bond between the song and the listener, since it appears to be speaking directly TO you.
