There was nothing; then there was this... - Raz - 05-13-2015

I have found an interesting trigger for bringing me in to the moment.

I simply say internally: There was nothing; then there was this... (no process involved in getting here.)

I do this in different situations, sometimes when it is peaceful, sometimes when there is allot of things happening. It always comes with a sense of innocent curiosity, mindfulness and awe. I like it =)

What will *this* return to?

That doesn't click with me. That may not work with everyone. I don't get the, there was nothing, part. I get the last part. [I sound like a Monty Python sketch.]

Imagine nothing... Imagine this... then compare...

Comparing Nothing to Subjective Everything.

The biggest perspective foci you can get.

There is nothing as "Nothing" (Oxymoron BigSmile). All there is and will be is Consciousness

Raz, you are on the right track, (but). Think nothing, (nothing). Or, in other words, simply stop thinking. Do not allow your Mind to think. i have used that technique for decades.

Who is the Master of your Mind?

Nothing cannot be compared with anything.

I watched an interesting lecture on YouTube recently which put forward the speculation that "Nothingness" is actually "Something". The new concept arising among the Philosophers is, before the God(s) spat out the Universe, there is a State beyond Nothingness. Everything encompassed into (?) which from our concept is indefinable. Can we ever find that State? Transcending that which cannot be transcended. Perhaps it is a place where we lose our physicality and become true Spiritual Beings. Our evolution has a long way to go?

It's perfect to build concepts about nothing, because nobody can confute it.
