What are the disciplines of the personality? - Nowheretoday - 02-17-2016

Quote:Ra: I am Ra. The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold. One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator.

Is there more to this? like, practices to discipline the will or something?

This is a complicated subject. Have you read through all the books? I suggest doing so 4-5 times. Read the books and contemplate how what Ra says relates to knowledge of self, acceptance of self, and becoming the creator. Any how, one way to discipline the mind is to steer ones attention during everyday life (mindfulness) and especially in meditation (visualization).

That 'know yourself' part is pretty big.

You have to be aware of the limitations in the self, to be able to not have them become enchaining.
