firefox 46 on Windows 10.
From the first video I'm getting audio only with a black screen on Firefox 46. Is this right? I get the same problem with the second (TED) video. When I pause the video I see an image of one of the frames. When I play it's back to a black screen.

nope, that's not how it should be, they're real videos, but the problem seems not unique to you, so you might want to check the different solutions a Google search produces. Good luck!
