I remember Ra says that the crusaders seeking contact with positive doomsday prophets to give them false information. This is going for decades.

But...they're not lying to the negative elites. The information they receive from the crusaders must be accurate, but they're not telling us of course.

Dates will continue to be provided for people who desire them, I suppose.

Apocalyptic prophecies serve a definite purpose, they keep us as a civilization locked in survival mode. It leads to us thinking we need strong, aggressive leaders who can protect us using any means necessary with concepts like National Security. It's the basis of our patriarchal culture.

We also internalize the concept of the apocalypse leading to feelings of hopelessness and depression, leading us to shrug off the problems of others, the loss of biodiversity and the destruction of the environment as regrettable but ultimately inevitable. Because of this we are in a holding pattern where we cannot progress spiritually as a people. The silly part is that this quickly becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, by sacrificing our future to maintain the present we are creating conditions that may actually bring about an apocalyptic scenario.

We as a species need to give up our addiction to apocalyptic thinking. We need to kill the apocalypse, and the best place to start, imo, is in your own mind.

Death is but a gateway toward birth and everything that is born will die to be renewed in their harvest. People, planets, solar systems, galaxies and universes are no exception.

The cycles are mighty in their ways and should not be feared. Yet it seems that when the Creator takes up an identity, it creates a clinging to that identity and a resistance toward moving on from it. And in that I see the beauty of the cycles of life and death.

This world will end, there is no doubt about that.

Well, that website is certainly a fine illustration of how going too deep down the "rabbit hole" of fear and paranoia can lead service-oriented individuals into self-destructive behavior and ineffective service.

Another thing with dates is: not the whole planet has the same date, there are time zones. But thinking in the Hollywood mode, I guess it's the date in the US that is important. Tongue

What's safer for them, deep under the ground or high in the sky?

How about under the water? They could make a big deco city and fill it with plastic surgeons. Sounds like a great idea, right? Wink

Rabble rouser/devil's advocate alert: Didn't Ra mention the shift in 'consciousness/densities' as of Dec 2012? That's an apocalyptic statement of sorts.
