Carla writes about Jim & the L/L Research story - Steppingfeet - 10-04-2010 Dear forums, A few weeks ago, Carla resumed writing her UPI (United Press International) column, A Small Medium at Large. She recently completed two excellent articles that explore the one known as Jim McCarty and retell some of L/L Research's history. For anyone interested, both articles are available at the following links: http://www.religionandspirituality.com/view/post/1285621590148/ http://www.religionandspirituality.com/view/post/1286225556713/ Love/Light, GLB PS: You can receive these articles via email by using Bring4th's subscription page [url]http://www.bring4th.org/subscribe/[url]. RE: Carla writes about Jim & the L/L Research story - Questioner - 10-05-2010 Thanks for posting this. What a beautifully written tribute to a man whose background, strengths, decisions and experiences are so different from my own. Yet I felt a sense of understanding, through Carla's words of such deep love and appreciation for Jim. I have been curious to learn more about Jim, as Don and Carla have both published a lot about themselves. Many mysteries about how situations mentioned in passing fit together. But I didn't want to pry. Carla's series fills in a much richer understanding of Jim's background, and of their shared lives from the Ra contact through to the present day. The mysteries are now explained. And I think it's safe to say, for all who appreciate their work, that our gratitude and prayers are with Carla's recovery of physical strength. While it's continually amazing to learn more of her spiritual strength through what sound like an incredibly difficult year. Thanks also for the descriptions of Camelot's development over time. Quote:My librarian self understood that kind of organizational excellence and I felt completely at home there. It's such a joy to find shared values recognized across different circumstances. Quote:the Yamhill Valley region of Oregon, surely some of the loveliest hill country in AmericaI've been there (though I have no connection with Shockley as far as I know) and have to agree about the amazing beauty. Recent years have brought more wineries. Quote:Spirit has sent just the right people at just the right times for all this to happen, and we remain humbly amazed. That's how I feel about finding the LLR material and this online community. Thank you all again for the powerful material and equally powerful example of the devotional life. RE: Carla writes about Jim & the L/L Research story - Brittany - 10-05-2010 Jim is so awesome.
