Unitarian Universalist Church - AnthroHeart - 03-03-2019 There is a church I am thinking of attending: http://uusat.org/ What do others think of unitarian universalist churches? They should be open to all beliefs. I want a community that I can interact with. RE: Unitarian Universalist Church - Tae - 03-04-2019 I think attending a church that resonates with you is a great idea. I don't think the denomination is what matters so much as the people in it. You should check it out and see how you feel about it. I periodically attend an Anglican church. RE: Unitarian Universalist Church - flofrog - 03-04-2019 Wolf, for many years I attended a Unitarian one. The thing that I loved the most is that at one moment you all sit in silence for a few minutes. No one is asked to think of anything in particular. You just sit in silence all together. It is just lovely. RE: Unitarian Universalist Church - krb - 03-10-2019 You wrote: "I want a community that I can interact with". I think that's a good thing to pursue, and yes, it's best to find a place that is tolerant of other beliefs. Tae made a good point also about what matters most is the people in it. I hope that church works out for you, giving you a sense of community, as well as a place you may choose to be of "service". |
