Crown of head facing north while Meditating - Inkshards - 10-17-2019
Is there any significance for the crown of the head to be facing north while meditating?
I had an experience today while meditating in which I feel asleep but didn't know I was asleep and was continuing to meditate in the dream. Opening my eyes in the dream I discovered that I was at the foot of the bed at a bit of an angle and was looking at my window. The only thing that tipped me off that I was in a dream was that there where items by my window that I didn't own and that jogged me out and woke me up. Out of curiosity I used the compass and discovered that my head was facing exactly north in the dream by recreating the position.
I'm wondering if that means anything and should I take the weird dream hint and start meditating in that position?

I don't know, but in meditation when working with directions I prefer West because it's the direction of transformation and is fiery/active.
North I find to be a colder energy and is rather still.
Sometimes though I like the stillness.

I had only experimented with this but did not take the habit.

I think it’s from the emerald tablets.
It’s funny because back in middle school I got a book on learning how to astral project and eventually I would reach this weird vibrating feeling that was so strong it felt like my teeth where going to ‘rip out’. I would get scared and I never was able to pass it and I couldn’t find anything in the book about that feeling. The only thing that ever mentions the vibrating feeling was in the Emerald tablets (I should probably finish it!)
The only thing I worry about is encountering negative beings while exploring all these metaphysical mysterious. I’m wondering if meditating in that position in my dream is going to ‘enhance’ it in a way both good and bad?
The only way to find out would be to try it!! Lol

I am not sure if it means anything. However, it is through the crown of the head that we tend to leave the body in astral travel.

Yes, you should try on your dream hints. I get mudras now and again. (hand gestures) You may have slipped into your future and may find you eventually own those items.
