solitary spiritual journeys (introverts) - IndigoSalvia - 11-16-2021 https://www.llresearch.org/channeling/2018/1215 I recently read this discussion where Q'uo addresses those of us who prefer a more solitary lifestyle. For a variety of reasons, I am an introvert, happily so. Yet, sometimes I seek and enjoy the company of others. Too much, and I get drained, and seek quiet and solitude. As I read about the catalytic opportunities with other-selves, I wondered: am I missing out on catalyst with other-selves? Q'uo's response comforted me, so I wanted to share with other introverts who may be asking questions like I was. We are equipped to process catalyst in more solitary ways, and here, we connect to the Source and our one-ness with all. I prefer and am content in solitude because it gives me blissful, quiet space: it helps me on my spiritual journey. But, I also recognize, sometimes I do it to avoid others because it can be draining for me to be around others. Any thoughts from others who prefer solitude? RE: solitary spiritual journeys (introverts) - flofrog - 11-17-2021 IndigoSalvia, I think the bottom of me is very solitary, but by the half of my life I became gradually much more of an extrovert. But I think, basically, the recharge of a ‘battery’ comes in solitude . Perhaps also introverts give of themselves more somehow, ‘qualitatively’ like, and need to recharge faster, while extroverts take more time to give out the same amount ?? Not saying introverts give more quality than extroverts of course…. It’s just they flow differently.I feel very privileged to have access to solitude and not be on the run all day long. Ayurveda is interesting. Of the three doshas, Vatta is the fast one and has energy in spurs. I am very Vatta, I am air and windy ! Lol My energy comes and goes and I need moments of solitude. It’s about movement. Vatta means ‘vigor’. I know someone who is very Kapha, which is water and earth, Kapha is about slowness, stability, substance, Kapha means “ that which binds things”. That person is an incredible sleeper, lol. Perhaps Indigo you should look into Ayurveda, if you haven’t done so. I can send you the 3 doshas questionnaires, they are so interesting, there are questions on body, mental, and spirit,
RE: solitary spiritual journeys (introverts) - IndigoSalvia - 11-18-2021 I am also very vatta and over the past few months, have been learning how to pacify my strong vatta nature. I have never thought about the connection between my contentment with being alone, and my vatta. But now you got me thinking ... I thoroughly enjoy and can give more to others (be present with them) when I'm "charged up." Once I sense a feeling of being drained, I retire to my quiet space. Quo mentions that, at some point, those of us who have preferred solitariness may begin gravitating more toward others in community. Did you notice such a change? RE: solitary spiritual journeys (introverts) - Sacred Fool - 11-18-2021 As I read the passage, Q'uo is speaking less about personality biases/preferences than about withdrawing from the crowd in order to seek the "heart of all" within oneself, and then later seeking to share that outwardly with all. Kinda cool. "Nice work, if you can get it." ha ha RE: solitary spiritual journeys (introverts) - IndigoSalvia - 11-18-2021 For me personally, I see the two as inter-related: my own personal preference for solitariness, as well as my ability to open heart to one-ness. When alone and quiet, I can process catalyst and experiences more efficiently, albeit to some degree, retrospectively. When I interact with others (on a daily basis), it is so full of and rich with 'experience' and comes at me so rapidly, I process it less efficiently. When I say "full of experience," I mean full of energy: being present with and open to others' thoughts, emotions, circumstances, etc. I can almost feel all of this energy, in interactions with other-selves, as if it's tangible. Hard for me to put into words. In one-on-one interactions, I can open my heart to them. I can feel them respond to being seen/heard. I can process and experience simultaneously. I guess it's a learning curve - for me, at least - to grow toward a balance of: opening my heart to others, and being able to process it in the moment as well. The words superficial and deep come to me: I can keep it superficial and on the surface, and I can go deeper and deeper with others. The latter is more rewarding for both of us - sharing and opening our hearts to the energies between us. I'm finding it a bit challenging to put into words; hope I've conveyed it well enough. Maybe others who have similar experiences can shed some light. RE: solitary spiritual journeys (introverts) - Diana - 11-18-2021 (11-17-2021, 07:47 PM)flofrog Wrote: Ayurveda is interesting. I'm pretty sure I am Vatta, but I think I would find them interesting.

I totally do… I see it even with friends who used to be more sort of insular, it’s really interesting. My take on introvert vs extrovert is that a battery analogy is pretty accurate. For introverts the battery charges in solitude, and is discharged when around others. For extroverts they charge the battery around others, and discharge it when in solitude. Basically they are wired in opposite polarities. I may have pre-incarnartively chosen the lead a solitary life with a network of friends and family around me. 3D life can also be a shock to the soul, so maybe some of us elect to not participate in the drama. RE: solitary spiritual journeys (introverts) - FarAway - 12-14-2021 "Q’uo I am Q’uo and am aware of your query, my brother. Each entity of the nature of which you describe—that entity which seeks the solitary experience, is an entity which has within its own being the means by which to use the solitary experience to make a connection within the heart of all beings if this is the desire of such an entity. This is the path of the adept." Yes, solitary here too and love the time alone most of the time. Altho I find it painfull to not find a partner I can open up and share too, on a higher and deep level. Hope to find a Wanderer girl soon haha. Can't complain about not having friends or girls interested in me, just cannot feel a deep conection. Doesn't help I have Aspergers symtoms and being extremelly physically and psychic sensitive. Maybe its just an opportunity to deepen into adepthood, to grow? Love nature, reading/studying, meditation and practices. Processing Catalyst. All alone. To all the loners out there much love and light. We are never alone, we can't be alone, we are always surrounded by beings even if can't see them, always in The One Infinite creator. RE: solitary spiritual journeys (introverts) - IndigoSalvia - 12-14-2021 Thank you, FarAway. Yes, I can recognize and process catalyst more efficiently alone. I also look forward to having a partnership like Ra describes. Quote:Maybe its just an opportunity to deepen into adepthood, to grow? I like this idea. To accept that some of us are wired this way, and others are wired to spiritually evolve through a more social path. Either way, "divine design." |
