Hi everyone first post here,
I was wondering If anyone IS (or is aiming at and how) or knows an Adept?
How to become one, what are some specific practices besides the recommended by Ra to become one?

The good news is that when you are...um..."far away" from your goal, then any general step you take in that direction is helpful. Later on, you may have to make specific choices as to which is a more direct path, but at an early stage, any steps in the direction of knowing the self/Self are beneficial. So, you might want to just go forth putting one foot ahead of the other and worry about the details as you come to them. And if this leads you nowhere, then at least you had some exercise.

Thank you for sharing your questions with us. I think it's helpful to remember that there are many, many steps on the path of adepthood spanning millions of years rather than an adept being a binary yes or no that is achieved in one lifetime. Ra themself claims to still be on the path of adepthood.

The spiral cycle of steps that I've found most helpful for desiring to advance on the path of adepthood is the following:

The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves. In relation to the pursuit of the magical working the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator. To become the Creator is to become all that there is. There is then no personality in the sense with which the adept begins its learn/teaching. As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity.

Know Yourself - Explore. Play. Experience. Learn. Collect. Experiment. Observe. Perceive. Receive. Listen. Absorb. Faith.
Accept Yourself - Acknowledge. Appreciate. Organize. Understand. Contemplate. Analyze. Integrate. Interpret. Assimilate. Hope.
Become the Creator - Create. Choose. Determine. Will. Persevere. Radiate. Teach. Speak. Love.

I think being grateful for anything that comes our way is a great help on the way to adept hood, I am alway struck by the kindness that Ra shows so often, and his own gratitude towards Carla, Jim and Don.

Ra gave us the blueprint of 3D in the form of the Archetypes (or Tarot specifically organized by those of Ra). Studying the Archetypes, according to Ra, is a pathway to adepthood (either way—STO or STS). The study is not simple, and according to Ra, the Archetypes "haunt rather than explicate."
On these forums, there is a specific forum dedicated to the Archetypes of Mind, Body, & Spirit in which the concepts are explored.
There is also a site which has indexed all the 5 Ra Material books and you can access the Archetype (Tarot) information easily there if you wish to look at it: https://www.lawofone.info/
