The tomb of Douglas Macarthur is very unique - 3-24-2022 - 04-08-2022 I thought this was interesting because of its grandeur and some text about his Christian views. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacArthur_Memorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3guNMeT-aM WW2 began a time when far more Europeans than ever before started living for extended periods of time in Korea, Japan, the Phillipines and several other nations. I imagine many learned to speak the languages and studied Oriental philosophy. I also think the tomb of Franz Ferdinand, Napoleon and Ulysses Grant are interesting because of their historic context. There's a place in Vatican where many popes are entombed. Are there any tombs or similar memorials you are inspired by? |
