Missions for non-wanderers? - Lonebro - 07-04-2022

I feel I'm somewhat presumptuous to post in a thread for stories about authentic wanderers in the Law of One sense. I'm not in this group per the classic definition in the Law of One. But I do share a sense of mission and I'm here to look for others who are consumed by a "sense of mission", which may be the only "wanderer" characteristic that I share.

My "ah-ha" moment, which continues unabated to this day, came from reading sessions 10.13 and 10.16. Along with many other similar which I found using my Kindle edition which allows word and phrase searches.. Priceless! I just searched for the word "love".

In several places, the Law of One discusses helping to "heal the planet" and points to a number of means to do this.

The one that caught my attention was the power of "concentration" and an example of this was what certain adepts in the "white magic" tradition (such as the Golden Dawn) might practice in magickal ceremonies aimed at "planetary healing". Ra warns against trying white magick in a solitary mode.
He says that positively oriented people should only take part in white magick in a group. (The reason was not given.)

Ra says that any means of training for concentration, including visualizing geometric figures, will provide training useful for planetary healing.

Have any of you "real wanderers" experimented with concentrative projection of Love energy directed to planetary healing? I'd love to learn more about your experience. I'm sure that I could pick up on a few of them for my own "mission-seeking".

I'm experimenting with a kind of "mantra yoga" approach using the "pet names" of my two main spiritual directors.  I find it allows quite complete concentration for several hours at a time. I project love and consign the energy to my directors to apply it to particulars.

What works for you?

Leaving out the idea that anyone is a "real wanderer"....

Yes. I have been visualizing healing for the planet for many years. It is a go-to meditation. For me, I just visualize myself in space outside of the Earth where I can see the whole planet, and either put a bubble of some color, pink or green, around the planet with the intention of healing, or project a healing ray toward it. I have no idea the efficacy of doing this, I just do it without analyzing it.

I am involved in a LOO study group with two others, and we have been meeting regularly for going on three years. Together, we meditate on different things each time. We have done what Ra suggested and together visualized geometric shapes or an agreed-on object such as the crux ansata (ankh) or a crystal etc., as a way to train not only the ability to hold an image, but the aggregate and synergistic effect of more than one person visualizing the same thing together. We have also together meditated on planetary healing or just love toward the planet.

One thing we do though, before we meet, whether it is in person or virtual, is to perform the "lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram" as suggested in the Ra material, which clarifies intent and is apparently a protective device. I don't do this when I meditate by myself.

I do think it is great training to try and hold an image for longer and longer periods in silence. Smile

Thanks for your thoughtful and very interesting response on "concentration".
I have used a very similar process of constructing a "vision" in my imagination describing the effect I want.  Like you, also without knowing if it's efficacious or not but feeling positive about it.

Some teachers tell us that these images created in our imagination  (as distinct from "phony images") can be created in an interior space which they call the "Void" or "Plenum" of Infinite Potential, and the image acts as a precedent form for a real- world manifestation.  The teachers of this method vary on whether to continually add "energy" to the visualization (by continuing it with ever more emotion) to bring it to realization, or if it's best to just "let it go" with an attitude of "it's done" or "let go and let God".  Most say that access to this "space" is equivalent being in the Alpha or Gamma brain wave state.

Thanks very much for sharing!  You have encouraged me in my own "image construction"!

Do you mind if I "pick your brains" a little more?

What is your experience or understanding about "mantra yoga" particularly ancient Sanscrit texts which are to be memorized and repeated ad infinitum?  I became interested in the Gayatri mantra, which is the oldest, from some reading and learned the mantra.  I chanted it entirely to myself.  I  stopped when I got negative feedback from my spiritual director, that it wasn't suitable for me. (No explanation. But I got the picture.)  Mantra yoga certainly incorporates the "repetition" principle, but it can become mechanical quickly.

Thanks and blessings of Love and Light

Thanks, Quincunx... Silva has been an inspiration for me also. I had the pleasure of "attending" a virtual seminar by one of his disciples, Raymon Grace. He distills much of Silva's teaching in his own very unique way. He's especially good on the subject of managing positive-negative energies and doing "clearings" that assist with this. It seems to me that these "clearings" are very close to, if not simply variations on, the objective and efficacy of the Lesser Pentagram ritual, but more oriented to individual, solitary use.

There is nobody out there who can be sure to be a "real wanderer", there can only be the assumption to be one.

Specially in the last months i did intensify the projection of love energy just by interacting with the planet.
I am going out and communicate with the nature and I imagine that in my environment nature is in a more lively state than in other regions.

Just try to find resonance with the nature and gaia.

For a real planetary healing the phase of destruction and Great Reset must end first.
