Anyone experience nothing strange? - turtledude23 - 01-18-2011 I hear so many stories on this forum about UFO sightings, ESP, streetlights going out as you walk by, making things magnetic, and so on. I've never had anything like that happen to me ever. If it wasn't for the internet I never even would have known about these things, other than in movies where I wouldn't take them seriously. I guess that makes me the odd one out in a group full of people who are odd ones out. RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Peregrinus - 01-18-2011 Things happen. You just haven't noticed ![]() RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - JoshC - 01-18-2011 Nothing too weird, I get a lot of number synchronicities though... RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Protonexus - 01-18-2011 I experience nothing, or not experience nothingness if that is understandable. Very Tao. RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Brittany - 01-18-2011 Yes and no for me. I've had tons of weird stuff happen to me due to my ability to see and feel ghosts, but I've had very few encounters when it comes to UFOs and all these big, awesome visions and stuff that people seem to have. A lot of times for me it's just tiny things that I probably wouldn't notice if I wasn't looking for them. From your posts, I get the feeling that you are intuitive and insightful and connected to your higher self. And committed to positive growth. I have had a few occasional experiences of penetrating the veil...but upon looking back it has mostly been a catalyst for growth, and honing and trusting my intuitive abilities. We are still in 3rd density and the veil is very much a part of this experience. And we all are unique in our experience, and our growth, and our plan for incarnation. I was reading the LOO the other day, about the veil and the veiling of the body. Session 83 The answers indicate that there was an ability to control the autonomic nervous system prior to the veiling of the body. So I got to thinking about the breath which is both autonomically and volitionally controlled in our body. The breath really is a powerful spiritual tool we have because it uniquely bridges those two systems in our body. (ie veiled and not veiled body functions). So my point is that if you do breathwork (pranayama in yoga) as a spiritual exercise, you may find you are more awake and conscious of things going on beyond the veil. Do you do any spiritual exercises or meditation regularly? Spiritual exercise just like physical exercise tunes and strengthens your instrument. So you can develop your nervous system by doing spiritual exercises, and this development will enhance the interface of your body with the part of you that is beyond the veil. I think its important to maintain the intention that you wish to grow and move forward on your chosen path, and be wary of chasing after "experiences" per se....this can be a bit of a stumbling block, as can comparing yourself to others if it causes you to judge yourself as inferior in any way. And if you find you are stirring up energies that cause you to be overwhelmed or confused, it is wise to have teacher/mentor/friends who have been there and can support you along the way. This forum, I think, is helpful and supportive. Many kind and loving souls here. Have fun and don't be hard on yourself! Love yourself with compassion like you have for others ![]() RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Eddie - 01-18-2011 (01-18-2011, 12:08 AM)turtledude23 Wrote: I hear so many stories on this forum about UFO sightings, ESP, streetlights going out as you walk by, making things magnetic, and so on. It may be that you haven't had these experiences because you didn't need them....after all, you found the Law of One and Bring4th without help. My life has, at times, resembled and almanac of paranormality. I started seeing UFOs as a small child. I realize now that those events were for my benefit, prompts to lead me to the active pursuit of spiritual growth and advancement. While I continue to have wonderful mystical experiences in dreams and during deep meditation, I no longer see UFOs. It just isn't necessary anymore. ![]() RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - mikesc - 01-18-2011 (01-18-2011, 12:08 AM)turtledude23 Wrote: I hear so many stories on this forum about UFO sightings, ESP, streetlights going out as you walk by, making things magnetic, and so on. I guess that makes me the odd one out in a group full of people who are odd ones out. The more I've learned about myself and life the less often strange things happen and the less strange once strange things seem. I attribute this to my pragmatic approach to understanding. Rather than making things ever more complicated, even while incorporating new information I try to simplify my prespective as much as possible. I also think that the feeling of something being "strange" results from a lack of understanding of the way something works. Therefore the I believe that the desire to expereince this feeling can be very limiting. If something odd happens I don't take any satifaction in it feeling strange, rather I try to figure out what I don't understand and how to incorporate this new information. I mostly just analyze my thoughts, feelings, actions, habits, etc. and think deeply about things, that's what I'm most comfortable with. I don't meditate as often as I'd like to and haven't done breathing exercises or visualization exercises in a long time, I know doing them would help alot, I'll give them a try a tonight, thanks. Shemaya, Eddie, and mikesc, you all seem to be saying that something along the lines of: "paranormal" experiences are good catalysts for starting or continuing a spiritual path, but become less necessary once someone is more conscious of their path. I agree. Maybe I never had these experiences because I've always been so analytical that I was bound to eventually question my life enough to begin a spiritual path. It would be cool to see a higher density STO entity or such but I don't think I'd trade my analytical thinking skills for anything in the world. But I am happy to hear about other peoples exciting experiences, since we're like a family on Bring4th. RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - native - 01-19-2011 What about synchronicity? You didn't mention that. It's direct communication and I bet it's something that you experience. RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Meerie - 01-19-2011 I have been getting many synchronicities, mostly with the 111, 555 or 777 lately... and I get acoustic anomalies. For example I would hear someone walking directly behind me and when I turn around they are at least half a block away still... it is as if my acoustic sense is getting sharper.... and it is hard to recognize where sounds are coming from sometimes, too. I heard what seemed to be an angelic voice singing, right before me in the sky and then it would turn out to be the woman cycling behind me. I have experienced synchronicities, a few major ones even which had a large impact ony my life, but as far as I know everyone experiences them that so I didn't mention them. I don't really consider synchronicities paranormal. RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - native - 01-19-2011 Yes but what is synchronicity exactly? Coincidences are direct communication and guidance from spirit. I've experienced some pretty powerful messages myself, confirming specific details. Other than channeling or some form of physical communication or observation, it's how the divine communicates. I wouldn't downplay it! I'd say it's just as significant a experience as any, especially when you think how the outside environment has to be manipulated to coincide with your thoughts. Or perhaps your thoughts are guided to coincide with what lays ahead. But to me paranormal means literally that - beyond/beside normal (actually I don't like the word normal but we all know what it means so I'll use it for convenience's sake, lol). A synchronistic event could be alot more significant than even a 6D entity directly contacting you telepathically, I agree with you. I only made this topic because I felt left out from uncommon things, not significant things, I've had significant experiences though synchronicity and meditation, but I'm pretty sure everyone on Earth has. RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - native - 01-20-2011 I see. Well form some intention, and maybe you'll get a response! RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Peregrinus - 01-20-2011 Ok, it happened to me! I went a whole day without anything unusual happening. In fact, I went out of my way to experience something unusual and it just didn't happen! RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Lavazza - 01-20-2011 I've also never had any unusual or paranormal experiences... I would love to see a UFO someday. RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Ens Entium - 01-20-2011 I havent had any unusual experiences either... I must say i sometimes feel like i'm really missing out on the full spectrum of reality. Beyond that, it seems that such experiences gives a purer focus to one walk through life, a greater devotion to the mystical. Also, an accute sense of the inner life. This is what i gather from those in the forum who have reported such experiences. I'm obviously generalising here.. Shemaya, what would the spiritual exercises you refer to be? RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Aaron - 01-21-2011 So far in this life, I haven't seen a single UFO or manifested any sort of PSI characteristics besides empathy. I agree with what others have said here. If you need these experiences to point you in the right direction, you'll have them. But you might not need them to discover yourself! And that doesn't mean your experience is any less "special" at all. All experience is perfect as it is, and desired by the Creator. RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - Nabil Naser - 01-22-2011 I do not think that you are the odd person. People can say anything they want. What matters is what can be proven, and can be duplicated. I have had many experiences that are very strange. But they are not experiences that I can explain easily, or do at will. Besides, a lot of these stories that you hear about are probably exaggerated. People always exaggerate things. Aside from saying how big it was, how is it possible I may exaggerate such? :p Proof? Can I prove to you I exist? You can't see me. You can't hear me. You can't touch me, smell me, and I can't be duplicated. Oh no... I must be a figment of my own imagination! RE: Anyone experience nothing strange? - turtledude23 - 01-22-2011 Nabil and Peregrinus I think you both make good points, I should take things I hear with a grain of salt, I just assumed people on this forum are more trustworthy. And then of course there's solipsism/Rene Descartes/The Matrix, nothing can be proven other than "I" exist, to myself. That could be! But in that case I would glom that in with my other 'normal' experiences, because I could have dreams every night that bend the laws of physics, etc. I understand the meaning behind your post- that dreams are more than they seem. I believe that- but I wouldn't call them paranormal per se unless they were obviously so- for example, having prophetic dreams or omniscient ones. Haven't had any of those yet. As others have pointed out though- I obviously do not need these things in my life to get me thinking on spiritual topics. Sort of a bummer though I must say! |
