FREE Feb 4-13 Meat vs Veg etc.The Great Health Debate! - Monica - 02-04-2011 This oughtta be interesting! http://www.renegadehealth.com/ghd/register6.html Quote:There are 100’s of diets that many experts say are healthy - some say vegan, some say vegetarian, others say you need meat, or you can't have any grains - but who is right? It's FREE! Register now! Starts Sunday Feb 4! RE: FREE Feb 4-13 Meat vs Veg etc.The Great Health Debate! - Ens Entium - 02-05-2011 Should be very interesting! I can only imagine the commotion... Monica, i know you might've covered this elsewhere but, if you could just refer to point that you'd like covered that you feel would make the debate comprehensive? RE: FREE Feb 4-13 Meat vs Veg etc.The Great Health Debate! - Monica - 02-05-2011 They've got an impressive panels of so-called 'experts' lined up, so it should be relatively comprehensive. Although, there are several people I can think of right off, that I would like to have seen included. (Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. John McDougall, Viktoras Kulvinskas, Victoria Boutenko...) I'm more concerned about fairness. The organizers are apparently followers of the paleo diet, so I have some concern about the structure of the debates favoring this bias; ie. the personalities of the 'experts' must be taken into consideration as well. Dr. Mercola, for example, has a very strong, overpowering personality. Someone like him could easily steamroll over another person, even if the other person is more knowledgeable. So I'm wondering how they were matched up. But yeah, sparks will surely fly! RE: FREE Feb 4-13 Meat vs Veg etc.The Great Health Debate! - Richard - 02-11-2011 Looks like all of them are published authors also. Oh yeah...sparks are gonna fly...all backed up by clinicals, no doubt. ![]() Richard |
