A Goodbye - Brittany - 05-06-2011

This will be my last post on this forum, at least for the time being.

I have realized that, at this time, I am not emotionally stable enough to censor my words to the point that they fall within forum guidelines. Therefore, I humbly take my leave. I sincerely apologize to those members I offended, disturbed or made uncomfortable with my posts. It was not my intention to do so.

I am going through a difficult time, and would ask that I may be kept in your prayers.

If anyone still wants to correspond, feel free to send me an email through the dashboard. It has been a pleasure, my dear brothers and sisters.

ahktu

Geez, now I'll have to go looking for those yummy offensive posts. TIA for them, ahktu.

Please recover or change your mind soon. Heart

RE: A Goodbye - Unbound - 05-06-2011

Censorship is not the way of open sharing. If the guidelines cause some to feel they have to censor themselves I feel that is an unfair distortion towards control. Words take many forms and this whole teaching is to get past simple surface level appearances and images and see the true potential within each. This leaves me unsettled.

Do not be sorry for any words you express, they are yourself, and any offense, disturbance or discomfort is purely the responsibility of the perceiver. I would think that with all the adults on this forum there would be less quabbling over words and ideas and more comparison between different states. It should be well established that there is nothing "right" or "wrong" and that truly every person on this site must be STO because they are so sharing themselves, they would not have come here if they seeked the STS path, that path finds itself. If people are so immature that they cannot talk about race, sex, negativity, violence, or the like with a cool head and understanding mind they should not be responding to those subjects. The Law of One is not the privilege of the squeamish, or of those of "holy" mind. We are real people, with real experiences and real emotions, none of these things should be suppressed, in fact the suppression of the self is one of the gateways to the STS path! It seems many here still give way to their fear, I would speak of the need to release this fear, it is distorting communications.

Blessings, Ahktu, my fellow dark child, we who are often confused with the image of "evil", and whom unlike many sacrifice our joy of the light to learn from the raw experience of darkness. Many would not understand the sacrifices made by those who most intimately seek to understand sorrow and suffering. I hope you will return one day. May your passings be of peace, adonai.

RE: A Goodbye - Monica - 05-07-2011

Ahktu, I'm very sad to hear this. You've been a beloved member of B4 for over a year now, and your posts have never been a problem. So I don't really think it's a matter of you not being able to abide by the guidelines.

I understand you're going thru a difficult time right now, and the other mods and I extend our heartfelt invitation to you, to stay and enjoy the community. The pm we sent you was not a judgment towards you in any way. We simply asked that posts of a particular sensitive subject matter be confined to their appropriate thread.

If you feel it's best to leave, then I respect your decision, disappointed though I may be. On behalf of the other mods, I wish you well in your spiritual journey.

Peace and Blessings to you!

Heart

RE: A Goodbye - Brittany - 05-08-2011

Due to the massive response I have gotten from this posting, I feel like I should clarify.

I am NOT angry at anyone, nor am I taking a break from the forum out of spite.

I am working on some serious emotional catalyst and simply want some time to focus all of my attention on an issue that needs it quite badly.

I apologize for being such a drama llama and inspiring an emotional outbreak.

You guys are so hard to resist I'll probably be back on within the week. :p I just need a bit of time.

Thank you for the prayers and support. God bless.

Did you read/watch the Tintin comic -- "The Prisoners of The Sun" :p

We all are, since Ra vibrates strongly to worship of the Sun BigSmile

It begins like this, "Sexuality and our sexual natures represent very important, foundational, and profound portions of our evolutionary experience" then it goes on about using "euphemisms where possible." Well, I'm not even sure if my religion allows using euphemisms, and I haven't used one in a very long time. I don't even remember if it was batteries or plug-in.

The guidelines are here.

RE: A Goodbye - Namaste - 05-09-2011

Good luck ahktu - see you soon ;¬)

RE: A Goodbye - NegaNova - 05-09-2011

Ahktu! I actually have to thank you! Because lastnight, as I was going to sleep, I was like, praying for everyone that I knew I had to pray for, and you were the last one on the list, and so I just imagined sitting in a circle with everyone from this forum around you, and we were all just praying and meditating, and thinking about you and sending you our love - and I kid you not, for like a split nano-second, I saw a flash of light and everything was pure white, but only for a fraction of a moment. As soon as it happened I was like, "F*** yeah that was awesome!" and yeah. So thank you for that experience!!

BRING4TH FORUM GUIDELINES

If anyone hasn't read our forum guidelines, please do so now. Thank you!

Nothing was removed from Sexual Revolution.

A few posts were deleted from Treehuggers, and some other posts that were of a serious nature were moved to Sexual Revolution, in keeping with forum guidelines and Treehouse guidelines, respectively.
