I'm wondering how many foreign powers have successfully landed on mars compared to how many from the U.S? And this next part is a little conspiritory(sp?) but might it be because the U.S already has bases on mars and messes with other space powers missions so as to not be discovered. And also are the satellites sending back surface info about mars all NASA craft? Allowing them to be the only voice on the issue of mars. This thought process just occured to me after reading this article. And even if there aren't bases on mars there are signs of past civilization that NASA and the U.S might not want other space powers knowing about(though it is unlikely that they know nothing of this fact. They might want more info though and NASA could be ruining their missions(points towards recent Russian mars mission that just happened to mess up right away(which could have been just a honest mistake but could also have been deliberate))) any way what do you think and what is the answer to my question.

So the Russians had a successful mission to Venus yet going to mars which is not as harsh of a planet failed. While the united states has had 13 of 20 missions succed. And just recently another russian mars mission failed just after take off. And ours didn't(again). Most of the things I have seen written about the subject seem to suggest that the united states is just superior to Russia in terms of space technology and yet they achieved all the big milestones(minus moon landing) before us. Which we then did after Roswell and a few others. It just looks like we are messing with their stuff and have spaceship(sci fi type-ish) technology. But really only if I look at it from the idea of a secret space program and bases on mars and secret governments and such. If I see it from the average joe I just see the U.S as superior in space tech and the Russians as having bad luck. I think the first one has the most chance of being true given the info whistleblowers have given and testimony from many different areas such as pilots and researchers. And many more.

So you take shortcuts and consequently much more risk. Take a look at the relative costs of the missions vs their intended goals. Anyway, regardless of cost, there are a million ways something can fail with missions as complex as these. It makes you appreciate the successes all the more.

I never get my hopes up with these things because sadly NASA covers most of their findings up, if they were to find structures on mars we will never see them, because they do not see this information "fit" for our society.. So sad how narrow minded NASA has helped people to become.. Sure they do missions to the space station, amazing photographic images of the universe etc but they still keep people in the dark and narrow minded about the universe through covering up information.. So sad to be watching this on the news and they interview a NASA guy about the mission. And he says "Maybe we will be able to solve the age old question, is there life on other planets?"... I just shook my head and then burst out laughing when I heard that statement. Seriously with the level that science is at now and what is now known about the Universe around us, the amount of planets and stars withing just our galaxy and they still keep the mantra up "Are we alone".. Give me a break.. It is completely irrational and narrow minded statement to still believe we could be alone.. NASA should be beyond that by now.. The question should no longer be "is there life"..
But alas after discovering the Law of One I no longer get angry about this issue, because we are all one. The entire Universe is alive, and the physical Universe is only an illusion and it is compete free will on an entity to believe what it likes..Hopefully one day disclosure will really happen, it can't come soon enough. People are so limited in their perceptions it actually makes me sad for them.. How can any right minded person possibly believe the entire infinite Universe and Universes began and condensed into galaxies, stars and planets and only one ended up having life and that is it, the rest of the Universe is just dead, no other life at all. So if we went extinct or this planet destroyed there would no longer be any life in the Universe any where or ever again... That is level of complete ignorance and may I even say stupidity of the statement "Are we alone"..
