We have similar dust storms here in Australia, though the colours are different: ![]() I remember seeing the full moon low on the horizon one night in New Zealand as I crested a hill. First snow on the South Island that day; the air was so crystal clear that, for the first time, I SAW the moon as a planet hanging in space. The feeling was eerie and dizzying.
