By act of trying to improve, we are trapped? - Cyan - 09-16-2012 Theory: The only real entrapping/binding/forcing into servitude aspects of the universe is, our desire to improve. Therefore, the vibratio in all messages of the positive nature eventually point towards "all is well" and "just be" "get off the treadmill" and so on. Trying to improve is what binds us to this reality? Thoughts on if this theory has merit would be much appreciated. RE: By act of trying to improve, we are trapped? - zenmaster - 09-16-2012 Usually one is using things of this reality when trying to improve in this reality. We're bound to what seems compelling, which is what is not yet part of conscious awareness. At some level, however, this reality is actually us. Hence the "just be". RE: By act of trying to improve, we are trapped? - kycahi - 09-16-2012 Using the Law of One, "improving" in this third density just means making the Choice of service to others or service to self. Delaying the decision is postponing improvement. The only other useful activities in 3D are making and having experience. This maintains and perpetuates the illusory reality of "not being perfect". We have failed to love ourselves, through lack of self acceptance. When we learn to accept or appreciate things how they are, the intelligent infinity within reforms the pattern of illusions to a form more consonant with the Law of One. One of my favorite Ra quotes is: Quote:4.20 Questioner: My objective is primarily to discover more of the Law of One, and [it would] be very helpful to discover techniques of healing. I am aware of your problem with respect to free will. Can you make⦠You cannot make suggestions. I will ask you if you can state the Law of One and the laws of healing to me? So I think the idea is to not turn self improvement into a sort of "overcoming" of obstacles or limitations, but rather, a process of becoming a more and more accurate expression or representation of who you really are. As Ra says, that which is not needed will fall away, naturally, in its own time. |
