Interactions with non-human entities - Spaced - 09-21-2012 I had an encounter the other night with an entity I met years ago. He is humanoid in form but entirely matte black. The first time I met him was during an episode of sleep paralysis while I was taking a nap in my old college's library. I was paralyzed, bent over onto a reading desk and this tall black figure approached me, said some words in a language I didn't recognize and then proceeded to touch my nose and then rub his entire arm along it. The other night during meditation I slipped into a deep meditative state and frankly I am only starting to remember what I saw then but I do know that the black figure was present again and when I saw him again I felt a rush in my energy body's nose. I could see the figure more clearly this time and I could see defined edges on his body, he seemed to have long hair. Does anyone have any insight into how I should interpret this experience? I imagine the black figure might be one of my guides but what is the relevance of the nose energy? Even though he was entirely black I felt no negativity coming from him. Anyhow, this was just something I felt like sharing, I'd love to hear your thoughts, or similar experiences. ![]() RE: Interactions with non-human entities - Meerie - 09-21-2012 "The most intimate greeting a person can get from a cat is the head bump. Cats reserve this intimate welcome for only those most trusted people or felines. If a cat greets someone with a head or nose bump, that person can be certain that the animal is pleased to see him." Could it have been a greeting? that is what comes to my mind right now ![]() RE: Interactions with non-human entities - omcasey - 09-21-2012 This seems to be a very common "dweller" phenomena.. do you go out of body regularly?, are you familiar with the term "dweller on the threshold"? RE: Interactions with non-human entities - zenmaster - 09-21-2012 If there is zero fear or emotional charge with the entity, I would say it's not the "dweller on the threshold". RE: Interactions with non-human entities - omcasey - 09-21-2012 I experience dwellers as a simple test of my readiness.. if fear is high I go back to the body, if fear is low I swing through and move forward into a deeper experience. I don't get them much, but I go out a lot, many hundreds of times a year so there is a good deal of coming across them all and all. In my own case it may be a borderline type of thing, not so much my fear manifesting as a test. Will I wake more and go DEEPER or go back? This phenomena occurs regularly in sleep paralysis, as Spaced shared in his post. It's a pretty tell-tale sign. RE: Interactions with non-human entities - AnthroHeart - 09-21-2012 I don't consciously go OBE that much at all, so I don't recall ever meeting a dweller. RE: Interactions with non-human entities - zenmaster - 09-22-2012 You may be right. Paralysis also happens with negative 4th density entities, but there is a psychic field associated with them. Fore Wrote:One of the various types of ET induced paralysis is caused when the ET approaches it's intended target. And there are numerous inner-plane entities which may induce paralysis. The problem is that if it is a dweller experience, there will be fear (due to facing the personal unconscious). That state of fear usually prevents one from noticing the more subtle qualities of the energy of its presence - i.e. familiarity of themes from self. RE: Interactions with non-human entities - Oceania - 09-22-2012 what's a threshold dweller? RE: Interactions with non-human entities - zenmaster - 09-22-2012 (09-22-2012, 12:26 AM)Oceania Wrote: what's a threshold dweller? It's just your non-integrated unconscious projected outward as if was another entity. Happens in early OBE experiences, or perhaps late night 2-3 AM. It's usually never the case that you would initially recognize it as being yourself. What's going on is that the experiencing person has finally gotten to the point of consciousness where they may begin to subsume the ego to some extent. It's the 6th subdensity of 3rd density (spiral dynamics Green vMeme) where one begins to explore the subjective elements of experience (Wilber's left-hand quadrants). Do you know of a convenient and free source to explore these concepts, specifically the spiral dynamics thing? I've seen you reference them a couple times in relation to 3rd density subdensities. Do you think a person can accurately asses their own subdensity status using these concepts? RE: Interactions with non-human entities - Oceania - 09-22-2012 i'm getting a headache. what's a subdensity? ah i forgot it's a subdensity. nevermind. what's a green meme? In SD, development through the subdensities follows from the effective use of progressive valuing memes (patterns) offered by the individuals within that subdensity. The developmental process itself only begins to become conscious starting with the last subdensity. Until that point, where one is 'at' seems to be ultimate standard of measure and judgement. Here's an overview of Ken Wilber's evolution of thought regarding development here (which also incorporates Spiral Dynamics): http://www.paulhelfrich.com/library/Helfrich_P_The_Five_Phases_of_Wilber.pdf RE: Interactions with non-human entities - Spaced - 09-22-2012 Thank your for the input everyone. This is some interesting stuff. I have heard of the Dweller on the Threshold from, of all places, the table top RPG Shadowrun. In the game magicians who wish to explore the various meta-planes of the astral plane must go through the Dweller, who confronts them with their darkest/most embarrassing/most painful memory. I don't know how well this parallels reality but that's my only source on these things ![]() I have had some paralysis experiences which included a lot of fear when I was younger. There was one time when I was paralyzed in my bedroom and I heard something walking down the hall towards me and with every step it took closer to me it felt like I was going more and more insane. I have a clear image from that night of when I tried to figure out why my arms weren't working and I managed with great effort to lift one up in front of the window, but instead of a human arm there was just a literal twig. I started to laugh and thrash uncontrollably as the thing got closer and then a voice in my head snapped me out of it right as the thing got to my door. It just said "Snap out of it, you're fine." RE: Interactions with non-human entities - Oceania - 09-22-2012 thanks Xenmaster. great video i wonder what kinda dweller i met. it might have been just a part of me. it didn't even feel that evil it was just this weird stranger... not even properly there but just this energy... definitely could have been me. RE: Interactions with non-human entities - Oceania - 09-22-2012 it was too vague to know really. how can i trust something that's so blurry in presence? indeed how can you trust a dweller? It is what it is with nothing hidden unless you hide it from yourself. All the information is there down to the minute detail. RE: Interactions with non-human entities - jacrob - 09-23-2012 Speaking of non-human entities, what sort of invisible being would sit on the bed and make it bounce up and down, make a square box sitting on a flat surface 'roll over', touch me on the back or leg occasionally, switch the tv on at inopportune times, and other similar things? I have one in my apartment and I don't think it's a ghost. I don't get that cold feeling which I've had in the past. It wakes me up between 2.40am and 3.20am several nights per week. I get a very unnerved feeling, like every body part needs to be under the blanket, but it's not fear which I've had with other ghost experiences. A few years ago my son asked that dreaded question "who's that lady in the corner" when it was just him and me in the apartment. It seems a fairly benign being. |
