Binaural and Isochronics: Glitching your brain into specific brain-wave states - Karl - 11-14-2012

This is something I've been meaning to share with you all for awhile now but I keep forgetting to do so.

I don't know how many of you are actually familiar with brain-wave entrainment technology so I'll give a brief description:

There are several methods to push/aid the brain into predetermined wave states. These are called binaural and isochronic tunes. How it works is you listen to an audio file through head-phones, relax and then your brain-waves are changed.

I'm not doing a very good job describing the technology so I'll just say it's magic and link to wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainwave_entrainment

I find it a fun/useful tool. Figured some other people may enjoy it.

Here are websites/sources I've used to get them:
1. iso-tones.com
2. unexplainablestore.com
3. alchemyrealm.com
4. piratebay.org: torrent i-doser

1st one is free, same with the 4th when successful.

Let me know what you guys think.

Its effects are only moderate with me but I also have atrocious hearing.

I have most of the binaural and hemisync stuff. Even idoser. Can't say i have ever noticed a difference.

RE: Binaural and Isochronics: Glitching your brain into specific brain-wave states - Karl - 11-14-2012

No difference between products or no effect on your mind?

RE: Binaural and Isochronics: Glitching your brain into specific brain-wave states - Oceania - 11-15-2012

i dunno about hemi sync but binaural and solfeggio is profound for me. the first time i heard solfeggio i fell asleep on the spot, and had these intense heart area tremulations that made my whole bed shake... it's very healing.

Only thing I've used like this have been some YouTube videos of the stuff. Popped headphones in played back.

I tried it about a dozen times
The effects were about as stated but very mild for me.
Tried out a number of different frequencies, and while I did notice differences, again with effects being so mild I didn't really see it as an efficacious tool for me.

I tried and I think I got the 'placebo effect' haha. Or at least a temporary benefit. Meditation probably has more longer term benefits.

The man who is thought to be the 'happiest man on earth' (Matthieu Ricard) generated an incredible amount of gamma waves in his frontal cortex. I think this is due to his nature, but also his meditation practices?

I haven't seen this video yet but he might explain some things.

Actually I get the best changes from Jonathan Goldman stuff.

I listen to LifeFlow (http://www.project-meditation.org/lifeflow.html)

I've found it to be really helpful. I don't know if part of it is placebo, but it helps me to "bliss out." Best feeling in my life, really. Listen to it for 30-60 mins. Also had similar experiences with HoloSync.

When I tried it, it was hard to meditate with stuff in/on my head. The noise was clearing, but it was cancelled by the lack of comfort. I'd say a Buddhist would call it cheating in meditation. I'd rather just put in the effort to meditate the old fashioned way and learn all I need to from the journey without synthetics. I'd liken it to drugs. (Not that they are bad, per se..)

You can listen to it with speakers, too. Ra would probably call it gadgetry. But...I like gadgets Smile And it helps me imagine myself in a sylvan atmosphere.

I can definitely notice my mind speeding up or slowing down, depending on the frequency.
Usually what I do is have an isochronic (only one ear needed) barely audible in the background of whatever I'm listening to. I prefer a low alpha state personally, 10hz or 6hz is nice. Alert, but relaxed.

RE: Binaural and Isochronics: Glitching your brain into specific brain-wave states - Spaced - 03-07-2013

I downloaded some i-doser thing a few years back and it didn't do much for me. Godwide_Void's music has had some nice effects for me though. My problem with this sort of thing is I become incredibly aware of the headphones I am wearing and even the wires and stuff. Silence works best for me, but unfortunately it's hard for me to find in the city.

Part of the lack of consistency in results from individual to individual is that by necessity, these devices assume an equal degree of resonance via the ear canal. Maybe the single-ear devices would be more reliable. Also I wonder if the effect is reliant at all upon the perception of hearing, or simply the vibrations affecting the brain itself?

@Spaced, I too have had some luck with gwv's stuff, most especially the track that's named after him.

I was blessed with modest income of other spending priorities, but might have enjoyed exploring brain wave gadgets... There are more gadgets available today, to choose from. But what has got my attention more completely , nowadays, is the blatant mind-control tech.

There are some compelling assertions that all commercially-sold brain-wave gadgetry is limited, by controlling interests. Which limits the positive human abilities... I spent most of my long life seeking increases in human abilities. Too long a story there, to cover. Rather let me point to one book which IMHO seems to provide advanced insights to the blatant misuse of brain wave devices today--

The point above being, if there is any really productive stuff to be had, the STS beings make sure to abuse it first and foremost.

Yet these technologies promise so much benefit if used for peaceful purposes!

Might as well link you this channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Liethyn

Probably the most authentic, accurate and tested frequencies out there.
