Best foods for your brain - bosphorus - 02-23-2013
RE: Best foods for your brain - Monica - 02-23-2013 That's a good list. I would add to it: Wild Bluegreen Algae from Klamath Lake - Super powerful brain food, crosses the blood-brain barrier, feeds the neuotransmitters in the brain and helps repair neuropathways. Not all Klamath algaes are bio-active. My family and I have been consuming this algae for 26 years. The leading brand also has a 'brain food' extract version with the cell wall removed. It's a concentration of the brain food elements in the Algae. Powerful stuff! Pm me for more info. Purslane - a weed probably growing in your backyard. Rivals flax seeds for Omega-3 content and it's FREE. Chia seeds - High in Omega-3's My hubby and I have a nut milk smoothie made from soaked walnuts or almonds + chia seeds + flax seeds, every morning. I also make green smoothies with purslane. (in fact, I'm about to have one right now!) And no list is complete without addressing water! None of this stuff will matter much if the brain isn't sufficiently hydrated. Ionized water is far superior to bottled, filtered, or RO waters, for myriad reasons. Especially important for the brain. It's used as part of a protocol for children with brain disorders such as ADD/ADHD, Asperger's, autism, etc. as well as for elderly people with Alzheimer's, etc. Powerful stuff! Pm me for details. RE: Best foods for your brain - Marc - 02-23-2013 I got a NutriBullet recently and make a smoothie with kale, pears, blueberries, banana, flax seed, goji berries, sunflower seeds and blessed water. I don't have money for fancy ionizers so I just use a filter and then bless my water and it always makes me feel great.
RE: Best foods for your brain - Spaced - 02-23-2013 I eat lots of walnuts, hazel nuts, brazil nuts, macadamia nuts, almonds, blueberries and pomegranate all the time now and they make my brain feel quite nice
RE: Best foods for your brain - Marc - 02-23-2013 Pomegranates are like the best candy! My wife and I go through like 3 a week. There was a pomegranate bush outside my window when I was a kid, but I was told they weren't edible! Such a waste! I remember them all over the ground, rotting. Unbelievably, I've never had a pomegranate in my life! I'm about to correct that. I just ordered a bush from my nursery and will plant it this weekend. I understand the valuable juice is in a little sac around the seeds. I saw a video on how to separate the seeds, then juice them. But are the seeds themselves edible? How do you eat them? RE: Best foods for your brain - Marc - 02-23-2013 The sac has wonderful juice and I just chew up the the seeds and eat them with the juice. Tastes great. Yeah same here, seeds and all. RE: Best foods for your brain - Marc - 02-23-2013 I did learn the hard way, not to use them in smoothies. My smoothie was extra gritty! XP RE: Best foods for your brain - Monica - 02-23-2013 ok great thanks! RE: Best foods for your brain - C-JEAN - 02-24-2013 Hi, good-food fans. We can also put "coconut oil", that do good for the brain !! I does marvels for an Alzheimer person : Doctor uses coconut oil to reverse husband's Alzheimer's disease ! Put "3rd party cookies" at OFF. http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread803325/pg1 Two small 10 minute videos, if you want. Blue skies. RE: Best foods for your brain - Karl - 02-24-2013 You can also eat animals brains. RE: Best foods for your brain - Marc - 02-24-2013 ...Or we could eat Karl's brains!
