Might find this article to be of interest.

Mind Control, MK Ultra, and A Course in Miracles

I do not know enough about Dr. Thetford to be able to support or deny the author's claims of Thetford's CIA-mind control effort involvement, but if true, they should provoke some critical examination of the issue.

Also, do we judge a work by its scribe or by its message? I've read some of it and find it to be very interesting and mind opening. I don't know the answer to whether it is a mind control experiment or not, but do we judge a message by the messenger?

I've heard of the CIA/Magic connection on this planet and See it to be true but also see that the common understanding of both magic, CIA and this planet is so wrong that it is nearly impossible to say what is the reality of it.

On a unrelated note. Do you believe that the CIA does not use "magic" to influence people?

Certainly they do. To quote Arthur C. Clarke: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

I have seen similar allegations about the Ra material because of Don and Carla's friendship with Puharich.

Does that mean;

Any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology? Wink

In "Frabato the Magician", Franz Bardon mentions some secret society of baddies being in posession of some kind of technology(called a 'tepaphone'), that can cause a heart attack to a remote person. And this story takes place some 80 years ago..

If and when I do die, I hope it's not through a heart attack. My life insurance wouldn't kick in then.

Puharich was indeed a CIA "asset", meaning, that he wasn't an employee of the agency, but worked for/with them anyway. I'm sure the CIA has a big file on LLResearch.
