correct diagnosis - Plenum - 10-12-2013 I've just started reading 'Buddha's Brain' by Dr Rick Hanson. I found the following quite a profound passage: correct diagnosis indeed! - - and sometimes its hard to see ourselves and our distortions for what they are ... that is when close friends and family (and even perhaps a stranger) can offer a mirror which can aid in seeing the self ('diagnosing' one's issues). once the problem is laid bare, the solution can come much easier. RE: correct diagnosis - reeay - 11-12-2013 There is a high likelihood that the problems we experience now (the one we think is the problem) could possibly be the symptom or consequence of a deeper problem/issue. When diagnostician of any discipline stick with most accessible and frequently experienced symptoms, then try to treat that, the problems most likely will occur again.
