The Value of One's Surroundings - Plenum - 12-29-2013 there are a few places where Ra references some of our modern living conditions, and that perhaps we might have become too divorced and separated from the second density sphere, and the presence of the Creator in that space. here are some apropos quotes: Ra on the second density being aware of our interactions with them: Quote:95.11 Ra: I am Ra. The dwelling seems surrounded with the trees and fields of your countryside. This is acceptable. We suggest the general principle of preparing each part of your environment as it best suits each in the group with the beauty which each may feel to be appropriate. Ra on seeking in a harmonious and conducive environment in nature: Quote:43.31 The surrounding of self in a sylvan atmosphere, apart from distractions, in a place of working used for no other purpose, in which you and your associates agree to lay aside all goals but that of the meditative seeking of the Infinite Creator is, shall we say, not gadgetry but the making use of the creation of the Father in second-density love, and in the love and support of otherselves. Are there any brief queries before this working is at an end? Ra on 'auric infringement' in crowded urban areas (the quote is in context on this topic of homosexuality, of which there was quite a long thread, but I am assuming that 'auric infringement' also has other consequences and influences on the behaviour and choices of individuals living in such 'urban areas'.) Quote:31.8 There is what you may call great aura infringement among your crowded urban areas in your more populous countries, as you call portions of your planetary surface. Under these conditions the confusions will occur. and finally, in this passage regards free will, Ra speaks on the consideration of free will when interacting with other-selves, ie 3rd density to 3rd density interactions, and always being aware of situation of the other-self, but also highlights the fact that man has had a tendency to ignore the needs of the natural environment, and there is a gross infringement of free will in that respects (3rd density to 2nd density relationship). The intelligent energy of our Logos has chosen to express itself in a certain way in terms of the environment (habitat, plants, animals), and even though man interacts and interfaces with this environment, there is a baseline attitude in our society that they are just 'resources' and nothing more; and no other consideration need be given in making the respective decisions. Quote:18.6 Thus, the distortions to be avoided are those which do not take into consideration the distortions of the focus of energy of love/light, or shall we say, the Logos of this particular sphere or density. - - I am most blessed to be living right across the road from a large nature reserve/park. It has a major river running through it, there is a creek and ducks, and plenty of wild birds (cockatoos, galahs, crows, lorikeets, myna birds, et al). There is a rose garden, there is children's playground and also picnic areas set aside. The air is wonderful and fresh via all the tall trees and abundant grass. (at least compared to my last location) it is very recharging just taking a walk through that area, and even better when one does a small circuit of the area and gets to see other people in a more relaxed environment, where the stresses of work are not plaguing them. sometimes I can get caught up in my private little room and all the interactions on the internet, and yet this natural space so close to me helps me reconnect and recharge in a very deep way. blessings be! plenum RE: The Value of One's Surroundings - Jade - 12-29-2013 Ah, nature. I chose to incarnate smack in the middle of non-nature (I live in Iowa, which used to be 99% natural prairie land, and now contains less than 1% prairie), but tending a garden and setting a welcome atmosphere for life really can make a difference in drawing in a variety of 2d life forms. As the weather has worsened my visitors are less frequent, but a family of deer has visited twice this past week. I've never seen deer in this neighborhood and I've lived here many years, so it's exciting. It's easier for me to instinctively recognize 2nd density interaction as self-to-self than 3rd density other selves. I think "auric infringement" can mean a lot of things, the first thing I think of is just the close proximity we are with others, one needs lots of conscious protection to not absorb the auras of all other people we encounter on a daily basis. I also think it can refer to the myriad of electronic devices that alter our bodies' electrical systems - wifi, microwave energy, etc. Plenum, I can't help but be envious of your parrots across the street. Cockatoos are my favorite. What kind are they? RE: The Value of One's Surroundings - Jeremy - 12-29-2013 Apart from the complete disconnect I have with most city dwellers, I think this is one of many reasons why I just don't feel comfortable in big cities. I've always felt very claustrophobic in concrete jungles along with being bombarded with the rush of people who are stuck within the materialistic/superficial lifestyle that encompasses city life. The city has always been synonymous with a big figurative stop sign in my mind. RE: The Value of One's Surroundings - native - 12-29-2013 I've been thinking about this subject a lot myself plenum. Take this quote for instance.. "In a balanced individual each energy center is balanced and functioning brightly and fully. The blockages of your planetary sphere cause some distortion of intelligent energy. The blockages of the mind/body/spirit complex further distort or unbalance this energy. There is one energy. It may be understood as love/light or light/love or intelligent energy." What do you think planetary blockage is? It could possibly mean the planetary collective mind not heeding to the call of the progression of the spirit, but on a more fundamental level it must relate to the quotes you posted. Since the Earth is our root, that aspect of ourselves is not functioning brightly and fully. So the reference to one energy is interesting. It does seem that by disrespecting nature, this creates conditions and catalyst which we further distort. To pull from the politics thread below..by honoring the needs of nature, what we might call natural law, we offer solutions and a method of service that works within the boundaries set by nature, healing all. There will be of course those that feel this is necessarily restrictive, and therefore infringing.
