South Pacific (BBC) - Plenum - 07-31-2014

anyone else seen this series?

It's just a 6 parter, so not long in terms of nature documentaries, but is quite a beautiful look at this part of the Earth - the south pacific ocean and it's many scattered islands.

the HD is also quite stunning - I don't think I"ve seen a recently shot nature doco in recent times, and the level of detail is just eye-candy.

anyway, thanks for the recommend - that person knows who they are Smile

having grown up in Aussie, all the islands mentioned have so much resonance with me. French Polynesia, New Guinea, Tonga, Fiji, Somoa.

and everyone knows that Islanders play the most awesome rugby!!

oh - one other surprise. Penguins that don't live near ice. Blew my mind BigSmile
