There's always difficulty attempting to match up terminology between different philosophies. What the Law of One community understands to be the "left-hand path" may not correlate perfectly to the concept of "left-hand path" that Brittany is working with.

We naturally attempt to understand her new path through the lens of the Law of One, but the system of thought she uses may not meet with the classic definition of service to self.

I don't know one way or the other, actually, as I haven't examined it. I only reflect that, without further information, we must be on guard against making assumptions. What most identifies ones path isn't a statement regarding its left-ness or right-ness, but rather ones energetic orientation towards self and others, and the way that orientation manifests in action. Thus far as I've seen no attempt to manipulate, deceive, or control others on Brittany's part.

On the contrary, she contacted us this morning and asked that her account be deleted. This was something needed for her - a releasing of the old and a sense of closure with the past. But it was also a gesture of respect to the forums. She knows that her philosophy is at some variance with that which is generally studied here, so she sought not to proselytize and not to interfere with with this path, but instead to respectfully withdraw.

Brittany is a personal friend whose presence on this forum I will miss. But I wish her well on her new path and hope that it brings her joy and meaning. Like everyone here, self included, there are of course surface distortions, but fundamentally, as I've known her at least, she's always been a person of kindness and compassion. I imagine that core bias will continue through each twist and turn of the road.
