Thanks, looks like I weren't far off then. There's much going on in your image. The cracking Egg symbolising cosmic birth/re-birth held by the serpent (Wisdom/ Knowledge?). The crocodile seems to symbolise the adept entity as they consciously grapple with the serpent and what it has to offer (Knowledge/Wisdom/Awareness). The statue and solid manner in which it wrestles the snake means it's handling the power well (Shown by the kundalini rising) without being overwhelmed. It's sort of a twist on the Caduceus.
The Snake has the tail end of it's body into Space/The Universe, meaning there's secrets it can still offer that the adept is attempting to realise for itself. It's also telling in that the Snake (In Archetypal form) is a quality of the Universe, to be 'attained', rather than an individual entity in itself.
That's my interpretation anyway.

But how you interpret the image is all that matters for me as the artist. I never gave any thought to the symbolism behind what I was drawing, I found a cool illustration of a crocodile wrestling itself and thought drawing a big crocodile would be fun. The snake and the egg and the universe in the triangle all came through sketching out draft versions first. The only conscious bit of symbolism I put into the piece was that I used the infinity symbol to map out the crocodile and snakes positioning on the page.
Having read what you have said I can only say that I fully agree with your interpretation of the symbolism and how they interact with each other. Perhaps it will give me some insight into myself at this time so thank you
