I had the strangest night last night... I went to bed early desiring to be will rested. I awoke and looked over at the clock. It was 1:11 AM. I lay there for close to 20 minutes and thought that since I couldn't sleep, I may as well shower and shave and be presentable for the surgery. Upon finishing that, I meditated for a quick ten minutes, and then went back to bed. I looked at the clock. 2:22 AM. The next time I awoke, I looked at the clock, and it was 4:44 AM. I thought to myself that this was becoming too much to be just coincidence, and went back to sleep. Once more though, before the morning, did I awaken and look at the clock. Can you guess what time it was? 5:55 AM.
I awoke to the phone this morning. My surgery was canceled... apparently someone was in dire need of a liver and today became their fortunate day. The anesthesiologist that was to put me under therefore became unavailable. I was not disappointed by this. What is meant to happen will. After a night of synchronicities, it seemed apparent to me that this was meant to be.
