After noticing it pop into the consciousness here this past month with lots of fanfare, I decided to sit down and watch the first (and hopefully not last!) 12 episodes of One Punch Man.
One Punch Man is an anime for people who love anime, and even for people who don't. It's a satire on the "hero" genre of anime - Saitama (One Punch Man) is a hero in a world full of heroes - though his power may be the strongest of them all - he can take out anything with a single punch. This amount of power, if you can imagine, causes ennui in the heart of our protagonist.
One Punch Man is funny, heartwarming, and gripping all at once, while keeping its tongue in its cheek. I recommend it to anyone who likes anime at all.
