There have been many attempts to tie the Tree of Life to the Chakra System but in my mind they are two different systems or world views. Perhaps referring to different parts of the same total system, but I think there is a tendency for people to want to fit everything in to on world view. I manage a peculiar manner of thought whereby I have one system overall but made of many world views, some which do not agree with eachother but I don't think I've met many others who are so flexible in their world views.

As symbolic systems, you can really do whatever you want.
