According to Wikipedia, a Tulpa is a concept in mysticism and the paranormal of a being or object which is created through spiritual or mental powers. It was adapted by 20th century theosophists from Tibetan sprul-pa which means "emanation" or "manifestation".
It is like creating a being within your own mind, except they have a life of their own. You converse with it, build a relationship with him or her, and it evolves over time.
Right now, a tulpa is the closest to having a real-world anthro. Except they can only be seen by the creator of them.
I created a tulpa years ago, but I forgot about it. I am revisiting him, and talking to him. He doesn't seem to have any ill feelings about being forgotten.
He's just glad to have someone to talk to now. It is like another of your own personalities.
