It's just a name, they didn't actually mean an animal dog. "Vegatation forms bearing the name dog"

I thought he meant Trees? Or a life form similar to trees.
38.8 Questioner: I was wondering if that particular social memory complex from the Sirius star evolved from trees?
Ra: I am Ra. This approaches correctness. Those second-density vegetation forms which graduated into third density upon this planet bearing the name of Dog were close to the tree as you know it.

I think "Dog" might have been what they said was the name of the planet these plant humanoid beings come from. It is located in Sirius, which is called the "Two Dog Star" if that helps. There's a tribe called the Dogon in Africa that feature other amphibious humanoids from Sirius and Sirius itself in their mythology prominently. Apparently in their mythology cannabis actually came from there too. Maybe what we know as dogs could have been another 2d life form original to Sirius, sort of a "panspermia" concept.

Yes I believe this is what Ra is referring to, the planet Sirius, also called the "dog star" since it is also referred to as Alpha Canis Majoris. Maybe one day when I'm in the mood I'll talk about my experience there as a "tree-like being". There is actually much relationship between the binary system, meaning dual star, Sirius and our own. Astronomy has not found any planets in the system so far, but such is spoken of in various channelings. It is one of the closest systems to us and the brightest in the sky. So "this planet bearing the name of Dog" portion could maybe use some commas or something, lol.

Ra means the Sirius star system when they say “dog”. Sirius has a dog for its symbol. This particular civilization which had evolved from trees comes from the Sirius star system.

For a little while last summer I was hanging out on our local Sacred Mountain, not far below the tree line. I was walking by an old Red Spruce when I swear it put this thought in my head: "It must be difficult to take a human incarnation." I was rather surprised by the introduced thought. Then I looked around at the fairly harsh, yet peaceful environment where the soil was poor, the winds could be crazy strong, the slope was steep, fires could be fierce and there were fallen dead spruce all over the place, as well as many young ones coming up. I looked at that, then I looked off the mountain down to the nearby town, just off the Interstate, and thought about our human environment. Finally, I nodded my head and thought, "Yes, it is difficult living in a human body in a human society." It is a complex endeavour and full of a different kind of struggle, to be sure. Up there the trees in some sense struggle with nature, whereas we tend to struggle against it, which, I would say, makes for a more stressful incarnation. |
