i have been doing some reading lately and one of the things discussed is about sharing your gifts. and we all have them . u might be a great listener an inspiring talker, an uplifting soul whatever it is, u might have great knowledge great peace whatever we all have gifts. what stops us many times is a feeling of im not worthy. i have this problem this imperfection etc
etc. u know what we all do we all have stuff that clings to us. but also u know what people dont care. if u have a kind heart and are good at comforting people those people dont care if your diet is not perfect if your speech is not perfect, whatever it is u name it we all got it. what they care about is if u listen to them and help them unburden themselves . a burden shared is a burden halved. when someone showed me compassion i wasnt looking for any imperfections in them. a little story here right after i got out of the service many years ago i was working in nyc. i was on the bus in the morning and i realized i had left the house without any money. my moms friend steve was also on the bus, i had grown up with his kids. i asked him if i could borrow 5 dollars. he whips out 20 bucks and says norral dont worry about it give it to me when u get it. u know even though that was many years ago i still remeber that act, someone believed it me and that was a good feeling. i dont know or care what imperfections steve had. what i do know is that he was kind to me when i needed it that is what i remember. so dont let feelings of unworthiness stop u from sharing your gift with this world . it is needed and it is important
