i guess i would say why wouldnt u let the dog live no ? did he bite anyone ? if so muzzle him when out in public so he is not a risk. dogs i have found take on neuroses just like humans perhaps even more so. a lot i believe depends of how the dog is treated during the first 2 years of their life. sadly a lot of them are mistreated and become distrustful of humans and they need treatment if they are ever going to regain their joy and compassion and love again and learn to be comfortable around strangers. so personally i would let the doggie live .
