My own view is that God is basically whatever we want our god to be.   Which is to say,  since the Creator is everywhere and in all things,  virtually any god imaginable is in some way a reflection of aspects of the higher source.   By and large,  I tend to think people see God as representing whatever qualities they feel they lack and/or aspire to.

So I see God as a very personal thing,  sort of an icon pointing a person towards the Creator.   People find the god they want,  and it helps them see the bigger picture.   God can be whatever thought-form a being chooses to "impose"  on the Creator,  and since the Creator is all things and none,  this just provides a new way for the Creator to be perceived.

Any god who points a person towards the Creator is a true God,  basically.   At least as I see it.

    Hello Dear Bosphorus,

For me personally, Creator is within everything that I am capable of perceiving. Creator is everything that Is / exists (of which We know and don't know). Everything that Is, is within the Creator - there's no "separation" between Creator and the Creation.

And I don not "believe" in above - I am consciously exploring such Idea with my Whole-Self - with my Mind, Intuition and what I can identify as my Soul (which is an inarticulate perception of my deeper Self). I will not "defend" above statements as they are my, intimate, subjective point of view. It does not require to "be defended", as I have absolutely no obligation nor need of explaining my Self. But I can Share it and I am doing it willingly.

Therefore none of your answers suits me. I'm sorry.
