How can one discover if they are a teacher, worker, or healer?

And what is the difference between the three in your humble opinion?

    Thank you.

Usually a healer is good with energy and senses energy, either sight or feeling.
A teacher is good with wisdom, knowing when to speak, and when to be silent.
I think anyone can be a worker.

How do you discover the answer to any deep question? You develope a relationship with your heart overflowing with spiritual gravity, then go there to explore the matter. That’s my suggestion, for what it may be worth to you.

If the next question is, how do I developed such a relationship, well, start by just being nice and bring flowers next time you go to visit. Then start meditating together and hope mutual attraction developes. If that doesn’t happen right away, don’t prattle on about yourself, but try to enjoy quiet moments together and continue developing a genuine connection. Following whatever courtship is required, then perhaps you’ll be entrusted with some warmth and maybe even some information regarding your queries.

How hard can it be? It’s a part of your very energy system, right?

I think the deeper question is: what is my Gift?

What did I bring here to this planet, to share with others?

My belief is that your Personality will be a strong guide to answer that (self) question.

The Personality is like a toolset through which our infinite awareness finds form in this current Reality.

It's carefully chosen to match our end goals for this Incarnation.

So yeah. Go that route. Or you could always pay $80 for a psychic reading at a mind/body/spirit expo (most major cities have them once a year).

False dichotomy. I KNEW I was destined to be a teacher even when the thought filled me with piss and vinegar. Still, I work to become a healer as well... And you know what part of my life self-healing process is? WORK.

    What's a 'worker' though?

I think anyone who utilizes polarity is a worker.

I think you try different things and see how it goes. Some tests might help e.g. ikigai, enneagram.

    My first associations:
Teacher - knowledge, wisdom, motivation, support, guidance ...
Worker - help, favour, comfort, care, supply ...
    Healer - relief, enlivenment ...

What about: artist, inventor, parent ... ?

And yet these things are forever secondary to the primary mission of each of you upon this particular planet in this particular density at this time. The mission before each of you is simply to address all of that which comes to you with an open heart, just that. And yet just that is the work of lifetime upon lifetime, for how can a person in a heavy illusion such as you now enjoy be fearless? It is not within the physical body to be fearless. It is not within the earthly brain, that choice-maker, to be fearless. Indeed, only the foolish are fearless, and yet the teacher known to you as Jesus the Christ has said that it is only to the foolish that the wisdom comes. It is only to those who live as little children that the kingdom is inherited.

Easier said than done, I know, but this might be a good time begin focusing in that way?

Which resonates with you? Which is the most appearing to you? What are your gifts and talents?

For me, the answer is “teacher.” I love learning and studying and I desire to help others. Learn/teach, teach/learn.
My natural talents lie in the sphere of intellect. A mentor, a guidance councilor, a teacher, these vocations call me forward. The way I like to look at it is as the masculine aspect of nurturing: mentorship, coaching, counseling.

A worker can be anything. One can serve others with almost any kind of work. It’s the attitude of mind in which we do things which tints the service either to the left or right. There is passive and active service to others. The passive services tend to be undervalued on this planet/ in our culture. The monk, the priest, the holy man are serving the planet greatly through their practice of meditation, contemplation, and prayer. Visualization is also another powerful service one can perform.

Discover which is most suitable for you! You already know the answer, it’s in your heart.

I read that a teacher has the most fully activated God's Mouth Chakra (9th chakra).
It's also called the Seat of the Soul or Jade Pillow.
Its color is magenta. It sits at the top of the neck, base of the skull, in that soft spot.
My 9th chakra is pretty open. Usually, we get information during dreams through that chakra.
It also connects us to our past lives and true self.

I am naturally drawn to be a healer. First, healing myself, and then others.

As Mother Teresa said: "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love."

Yes, the mission of love is primary. Even if you don't find a dream occupation. Nevertheless I think it's beneficial to discover what roles are better suited for a person (even if it isn't the most dramatic and noticeable role in the world). And whatever I'm doing, I want to do it my way. Just like the Frank Sinatra's song. Smile

Remember Billy Elliot story? A lot of parents want their children to be lawers, doctors, bankers ... If some of them wouldn't gone their own way we wouldn't have Händel, Tchaikovsky, Johann Strauss II etc.

Suggested career choices for enneagram types:

    P.S.: Tritypes are more accurate.

What is the service of a white magician?

Altering/ennobling/purifying/perfecting the self? Isn't an ascetic doing this?

Healing the sick? Isn't a healer doing this?

Experiencing the union with the Creator? Isn't a mystic doing this?

Understanding the deeper meaning of life? Isn't a philosopher or sage doing this?

Exorcisms, purifying a place, protection? Using superpowers? Consciously influencing the uncosious mind, evoking archetypes? Maybe. We all perform rituals but some are specialists like priests. Jesus did healings and miracles but they are called "signs" - they are symbols, signaling something to the unconsious, stimulating faith, announcing fulfillment of the prophecies ...
