Stillness is infinity and its just round the corner.

My preferred method is listening to the silence. Like the sounds of the world in a deep night. Maybe some chirp of a bird somewhere. A little bit of wind. When everything is quieted down. There is still life going on at that point, but its much more silent and calm. Especially when people around the city or the neighborhood are sleeping. Its a silent time.

The more you listen to this less loud voice of existence, the more silent part of it you hear. Every next bit of silence is more silent. And much closer.

Of course, at one point you are not hearing any actual voices, or even worded concepts. The more silence you listen, the more silent you become, syncing with the next level of silence.

At one point, the swirling, chaotic static appears in front of your eyes. Like the static in old TV sets. Some call it 'eye noise'. As you listen more, the static harmonizes, and waves start appearing. Like calm waves in a pool or pond. Or maybe inside the sea that is not directly visible. As you listen more, the waves harmonize more and the sea gets calmer. The most silent part of the journey.

But you cant go further than that since total stillness is entirely not visible for an entity that still 'exists'. As the waves become more still, you notice that you cant follow. Trying listening to ever more still levels of silence puts pressure on you. You try to stay at the point where you can withstand, and look at the waves. Even doing that is not easy. You stay as much as you can, and when you cant listen to silence any more, you stop and come back to the noise level of our current planet.

    Regarding silence.....

    https://llresearch.org/transcripts/issue..._0419.aspx

Quote:As you continually offer yourselves as instruments of the Creator’s love and peace, you shall find great aid in several things. Firstly, you shall find enormous help in entering the silence. The tremendous learnings and new awarenesses with which this time is so rich, to those who have ears to hear and hearts to understand, offer you many gifts. Indeed, too many gifts for you to assimilate without moving into the silence and letting these new learnings and awarenesses be seated and integrated into your deep mind and into the basic balances of your energy body.

Just as sleep offers rest to the physical body that it may reset its systems, cleanse toxins from the body, and restore the body to the balance which is its best balance for continued life and growth, just so entering the silence gives your metaphysical body, the energy body, the time of rest and recuperation that it needs from the hustle and bustle of incoming catalyst and hard-won victories. It allows new learnings to be seated in the subconscious mind. It allows new balances to be confirmed and implemented. It cleanses the toxins of fear, self-doubt, and low self-worth from the system. And it resets the system at its best tuning.

You may think of yourself in this wise as a spiritual athlete—one who is in training. Entering the silence is the equivalent of exercise. Some are so fit by nature for this task that they are drawn to the silence irresistibly and for those we have few words, for your hunger and your thirst shall bring you into the silence again and again.

For others, there is not the personality that must seek silence. There is rather the sturdiness within physical life which enables the energy body to flow from good work to good work, from doing to doing to doing again, without a conscious awareness that there is a need to let it all go, to empty the hands that may be grasping the highest of ideals but perhaps holding them too tightly. And to those we would encourage blind faith and the movement into silence regardless of the feeling of rightness.

Silence is a habit like any other. If you have not previously been, to your self-perceived awareness successful at entering the silence, we would ask you to try again, not from the standpoint of doing something well, but from the standpoint of doing it at all. Do not be attached to an outcome. Simply stop talking, stop thinking, set your intention to listen to the still, small voice of the one infinite Creator, whose thunder speaks in silence.

It is not important, dear ones, that you are good at this process. It is perfectly acceptable as part of entering the silence that your brain continues to generate those thoughts and concerns about which it is focused at the present time. Let them arise; let them fall away. While you are in the silence, they have no significance. You may watch them as you watch a movie, but do not become involved in the plot. Stay in the silence. Remain an observer who waits in stillness for the voice of the Beloved.

We assure you that by this discipline of entering the silence upon a daily basis, even if for very short periods of time, you shall give yourself the rest that you need, spiritually speaking, so that you do not “burn out;” you do not become exhausted spiritually; you do not have to go to the side of the path and sit to get your breath.

To reiterate the beginning, the pre-requisite here is continuously offering self as an instrument of the Creatrix's love and peace.  From that flows the gifts received in silence....and more....possibly including vegetative dialogue.

Regarding the silence, my thoughts are somewhat different then most of you. I always like the mechanics of things. Just to mention the brain briefly - the brain is like everything else, electricity in action. It can copy, imitate, sense and reason. We also have the gut feeling, intuition and the sixth sense. Nothing that presents itself as new in this world is done through the brain but rather with knowing or connection with the Infinite Intelligence. In the old sorcerers teachings it states that to reach that inner knowledge, we must go to almost a total exhaustion, before we can connect to it.
What is it that religion or all of the books out there are NOT telling us? That secret is the first step. If we are to achieve anything in our lives, we must walk towards it. Without that desire and action, nothing is accomplished. One example would be the farmer - if he does not plant the seed, no amount of sitting in meditation or prayer will do it for him.
In the Pleiades connection they are talking about the plight of our world and telling us exactly how nature works, so that we, with that knowledge, can turn things around. I cannot remember if it was Hatonn or St Germaine that were talking about this topic where they compared India and Japan. They both practiced Buddhism, have both learned about silence and clearing the noise from their minds, and India to this day practices the same. Japan went one step further - as soon as the mind is cleared of distractions, creativity slowly creeps in. Today we can clearly see the differences in those two approaches.
I am a very practical man. I like to dream too. I am at the shore watching the big vessel going by - no chimney, no pollution, no noise, just the waves reaching the shore and disappearing in silence. However, I would never dream to put the responsibility on someone else's shoulders in order to create that world for me.
    To summarize:
Today's stillness equals petition to infinite potential so that my growth and maturity, reached the point of responsibility, so that I can take the presents that have been waiting for this moment for eons and enrich the world with it.
Tomorrow equals organizing and reasoning to bring the idea into the physical world.
This is my view of silence

    Controlled, Disciplined? Words are words

Yep. Both are the same. That's a 'skirting the issue' on Ra's part.

"As verbs the difference between control and discipline is that control is to exercise influence over, to suggest or dictate the behavior of, oversit while discipline is to train someone by instruction and practice."

"As nouns the difference between control and discipline is that control is (countable|uncountable) influence or authority over while discipline is a controlled behaviour; self-control."

She appears in the Rigveda.  She is also linked to water, lakes and ponds and is often painted with a luth sitting next to a lake. I always liked her because she is also very witty, she is a fun goddess. Smile I have an image of her and I often start a mediation with it and there's always a blissful feeling, perhaps it's all that water...

It probably is all that water Smile

You can use thoughts to still the mind focus on one thought, and use it as a shield to not let yourself be distracted by other thoughts. Also, You can listen to your own heart beats to completely forget that there are thoughts. These are the 2 ways that I use. I'm not sure If I've reached stillness of the mind, but I've experienced in 3 occasions how my awareness started separating itself from the head and going down to the heart before reaching the heart there is sort of wall which I couldn't pass. You feel it, like you have reached a balanced state of being I think, not of mind because its like your awareness changes. You feel different.
