Crystal Reading

Does anybody do crystal reading? I recently found out I was able to do this.

Something I will add to how I came about this. Myself and others have been repeatably told to find other "like" people. This seems to be a form of grid/web creation, which interlinks energies in this reality. What has happened many times is that I come into new insight or ability after meeting with another metaphysical worker. This latest example is a girl I have been interacting with, still trying to learn what her abilities are. She sent me a box of stones, and when picking one up an image appeared in front of me. I found that each stone gave a different image as a metaphor to the awareness/insight held within particular stone. This is an example of how our interaction activated a latent tendency in myself. While she is still trying to understand some of the 'new' things that have happened to her.

One person from this forum sent me a stone that appeared as a dragon, which seems to be a metaphor for the amount of wisdom accessible through use of the stone. (thanks! you know who you are

I have been shown areas of "lifetime" and metaphors of the type of awareness. I have only sat and done this a couple times, but it is fairly cool to know that this is possible.

Also, I have come across a couple of "empty" stones as well.

I don't read crystals really, but once I did feel a Lemurian Dow crystal held a copy of my own field, and amplified it back to me.

yeah, I definitely get the sense of finding your 'peers' and doing collective seeking. There really is something about combining one's 'seeking energies' to discover something new.

once a 'call' is made, the opportunity for that fulfillment is just us being ready to accept it. (the insight or the experience)

what do you think that means?

were they artificial (ie manmade) stones?

Yes, this is how I communicate with stones in many cases and it is true that sometimes they are "empty", but I have encountered many different kinds of spirits in stones and the fascinating part is that they are consistent. Each time I work with the same stone I get more or less the same impressions although of course, just like normal people, I continue to learn more about each spirit each time I work with them.

Also, on the topic of forming the grid/network thing, my guides have been going bonkers trying to get me to connect with you.

Stone affinity runs in my family but I am voefully lax in using them. My experiences aren't at the level discussed either so I guess I'm just trying to make myself seen =D

I have some sensitivity to crystals and stones, but it's not very developed. I do love looking at and holding and thinking about crystals though, gets me excited

Personally, I am talking about both, literally any kind of mineral.

Course, most "generic stones" don't seem to actually have their own individual spirits per se but rather seem to have a sort of extended kind of self which stems from spaces through which the body of the mineral being has traveled. I have encountered stones whom told me about coming from larger boulders or mountains and how they are those things "reaching out" in to the world.

It has been my understanding that in non-crystal minerals, the particles comprising it are individual units of consciousness, but they are too small to have an organized identity, self-awareness, etc. It is the regularity of the crystal which somehow enables the entire crystal to function as a unit of consciousness of sufficient size to have an identity and personality not very different from ours.

Perhaps because the crystalline structure focuses the inflowing of infinite energy in a similar way to how a pyramid does?

I've been toying with the idea that our consciousness may not be something static that we possess, but rather the effect of the constant flow of intelligent energy through us. Metaphorically, rather than being a pool of water -"my energy", consciousness may be like the water flowing past a particular bend in a river, with the shape of the bend representing our individual personalities/biases/distortions that affect the flow in various ways, thereby manifesting our unique beingness.

The idea you are toying with is what I believe, and in my personal experience, to be the case. I realize that the more I call intelligent energy in to my body and integrate it with my body I become more aware of my body and my body becomes more aware of me. However, I realized that the body can exist without the awareness of higher consciousness running through it. I believe you are quite on to something.
