About twelve hours ago, I saw some new posts appear from other members. Then there was a period with database error messages on the site. When I came back just now, the site was working fine and more new messages had been posted.

Many active members check in once a day or less often. Some are on throughout the day. I didn't really see anything unusual in this pattern except for the return of the database error. If this site has any database servers parked in Earth orbit, subject to coronal discharge effects, it's probably time for someone to get a really big ladder and go put some shielding around them.
