    Hey everyone!

I had a question about this path that I have embarked on and I was wondering if it is service to others (I'm a noob). Basically it is consciously (in the beginning it's consciously but hopefully I pass that to subconsciouly when I get better) doing things for the creator.

For example, this is something I would consciously tell myself and believe:
"I am eating this food because I love the creator and want to live to love Krishna."
"I am studying for my physics exam because I see Krishna in everything and I want to get a good job to help His children who are also him too."
"Thank you Krishna for helping me get a B on my exam."
As a side note: I view the pantheistic creator as Krishna because it helps me with devotion and love towards the creator, and this path is also called bhakti yoga.  Blush Angel

Is saying things like that actually service to others or does it just increase faith?

Are you looking for a yes or a no?  An answer could fall anywhere along a spectrum, it seems to me.

A good way of viewing the matter may be to examine where from within yourself these statement originate.  On one end of a spectrum they could potentially be narcissism dressed up as devotion.  At another end they could come from a place of pure divine communion.  In other words, your answer resides within your own being.  The way to seek your answer is to perceive and understand what's going on "under the hood," if you will, in my view.

You are eternally loved by the one creator/creation, what you experience is a mirror of your internal experience, which is a way of the creator knowing itself. Anything you do will serve the creator equally, but if you're interested specifically in STO, acting in a way that doesn't infringe on others' free will, but also doesn't impede your ability to serve is STO.

STS is exploitative, STO is co-creative. My advice is don't worry about what progress you're making. Instead if praying to Krishna or any god, connect with your sense of being, the wordless "I Am". Abide there and your true nature will become clear.

       Welcome cherria!
Probably most people are well along their chosen path before they realize they are making a choice.
I don’t know if what we say when alone is service to others or not, but it certainly helps focus our attention on the desired path.  So, I would yes, say it if it is helpful in your life.
(I smiled when you mentioned your physics exam, because I was a physics teacher for 45 years.)
It seems to me that getting a good job is one very good way to be of service to others if the job is performed faithfully, since your work will be of service to anyone who receives from what you do.

    Short answer : Yes

It is the intention behind your prayers and your actions that polarizes you. We can't know your intentions but from what you wrote it seems your intentions are positive. You could add a prayer thanking the Creator for helping you to ever refine your intentions in this regard.

Essentially what I was saying was trying to view moments throughout the day as a catalyst to love, positivity, and gratitude towards the infinite creator. I was wondering if this is considered STO or just helps with spiritual development

I don't think you can separate them, so, yes I think it is both.

    Welcome cherria,

To a certain extent, this question can only be answered by you and your higher-self.

First step should be achieving "stillness" through meditation, to be-still the Body/Mind/Spirit Complex.

Once the majority of your "distortions" begins to subside. That is when "true intention" reveal itself, do not be afraid if it is selfish at first, because you DO NOT want to hide from your shadow.

If your "shadow" wants to reveal itself, let it. That is the way to bring "light" to the shadow archetype, by taking "awareness," "acceptance," and "correction." to it.

A mistake one can make during the process of awakening/polarizing is letting the "anxiety" of choosing "the correct path" to influence your "pure" intention. From my experience, the wrong path is the path of being "ignorant" to the totality of one-self. This could lead to "the self" not accepting or being "confused" with one's actions.

For example, in Ra's materials. Ra said that Hitler was confused because he thought he was "helping" mankind to advance, but he was being ignorant to the "method" he chose.

    To conclude,

achieving "stillness" and then "reflecting" on oneself should lead you to the answer you seek cherria.

With love and light fellow seeker ❤️

IMO there are two general ways to be of service to others. The first is the most literal sense. Taking actions which are in service to an other self. The second is in radiating love and energy to someone, or the planet.

Quote:42.7 Questioner: I would like to try to make an analogy for this in third density. Many entities here feel great compassion toward relieving the physical problems of third-density other-selves by administering to them in many ways, bringing them food if there is hunger as there is in the African nations now, bringing them medicine if they believe they require administering to them medically, and being selfless in all of these services to a very great extent.

This is creating a polarization or a vibration that is in harmony with green ray or fourth density. However, it is not balanced with the understanding of fifth density that these entities are experiencing catalyst and a more balanced administration to their needs would be to provide them with the learning necessary to reach the state of awareness of fourth density than it would be to administer to their physical needs at this time. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. To a mind/body/spirit complex which is starving, the appropriate response is the feeding of the body. You may extrapolate from this.

On the other hand, however, you are correct in your assumption that the green ray response is not as refined as that which has been imbued with wisdom. This wisdom enables the entity to appreciate its contributions to the planetary consciousness by the quality of its being, without regard to activity or behavior which expects results upon visible planes.

Your affirmations are more toward the second part, radiating love and light. Simply ask yourself if those affirmations do radiate love to others. Can you improve the affirmation to radiate more love?

In my humble opinion, only the third of your quotes is truly radiating love and light to creation. While the first two are sincere, they are not doing so as you seem to intend. Can you see why I would think so?
