Quote:Questioner: Thank you. Would you define karma?

Ra: I am Ra. Our understanding of karma is that which may be called inertia. Those actions which are put into motion will continue using the ways of balancing until such time as the controlling or higher principle which you may liken unto your braking or stopping is invoked. This stoppage of the inertia of action may be called forgiveness. These two concepts are inseparable.

"Forgiveness is the stoppage of the wheel of karma"

Should an other-self wrong you. It is similar to them shoving you and your body receiving the momentum from the shove.

If you do not forgive them, the inertia continues from self back to other-self.

If this other-self feels guilt, the inertia rests and catalyst is attracted to the entity until the lesson can be learned.

If the shover does not embrace guilt but instead has an StS mindset. If they forgive themselves! The inertia continues back once more to the shovee where it rests and catalysts attracts!

It is at this point that the shovee must forgive the other-self to stop the inertia finally. (If reconciliation is impossible)

Forgiveness is so much underrated!  Even by people who considers themselves very religious.

    Here's some inspiration: Smile

    And much lighter...

I think rather than trying to not get angry at someone for upsetting our day and then labelling it forgiveness, it's more beneficial to go down the path of trying to understand why the person feels so strongly that they need to get your attention in such a way.
This takes compassion or the ability to understand why someone feels a certain way, which helps us understand the behaviour.
We learn to shift our focus from an illusory feeling of being a victim, to one of understanding. We start to see that all interaction is either love or a call for more love, which leads to compassion or the desire to share love. This is true forgiveness, IMO

"Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven"
    -- Jesus, Luke 6:37

As the 'other self' is actually 'your own self', that's the expression of love.

If you expand further of trying to understand how things are from the perspective of the 'other self' then you've also expressed wisdom as a bonus.

As wisdom is actually the capability to understand things from multiple perspective, the more perspective that you can understand, the wiser you shall become.

That might be the reason why the STS path is named as the path of 'wisdom', as STS entities are actually a 'light being' who tried to understand things from the perspective of 'the other side', the side which is different from his 'initial / default' side.
Experiencing the 'dark' in order to gain more understanding about the 'light'.

I just read this today, and I found it interesting...
You might not understand why 'reptile species' behave the way they do, until you've experienced of being a reptile yourself.
"Unfortunately, snakes never evolved the parts of the brain responsible for complex emotions and behaviors like love and showing affection. "

This is what I believe a Wanderer is and what is implied by the term "brothers and sisters of sorrow".
Those who have learned the fast path of STO oneness, return as STS to act as catalyst. This would be an STO expression of STS but seems like there is potential for huge contrast and an expansion of the experiences available to the individual and social memory complex.
