i was just thinking how many intelligent, interesting people i've met through this place. people whose beliefs are very different yet they're all here for some reason. instead of being a homogenous group of blind faithors there's debate and disagreement and it's not always perfect or fun but i'd rather have this than everyone always agreeing with some supreme creed noone even understands. maybe that would be easier but it'd lack tigerblood.

i just wanted to say thank u. Heart

back to ur regularly scheduled bickering. BigSmile

I strongly disagree and have a belief that this whole group is fully homogeneous in their beliefs.

I have always sought after my own truth, and beliefs. and this is where my seeking landed me..but i dont consider myself any special, i dont even know if am a wanderer like most of the people here.
I just feel like i chose to reincarnate around here for a reason, or may be am bound by karma,..the thing i have learnt is that one can accumulate even more karma by associating with some folks,..so its a risky venture. This whole dance can get complicated and fun, we are all in it!

not everyone here needs to be a wanderer. Smile everyone is special. i'm not from here but if u ask me, what i want is to be an earthling. i've fallen in love with our crazy planet and being here is so painful and insanity and beauty. it's totally maddening but i can't help loving this place. it's a melting pot, it's a treasury of art. i feel like i'm always looking in and not fitting in. if u feel like u belong on earth ur so lucky. Heart to me it's always a losing game. even here on b4 i often feel like the outsider. from baby i've always been unacceptable and weird. it becomes part of ur personality/identity. ur history. i feel like it's all lifting lately though. can anyone else feel that?

can u elaborate on "one can accumulate even more karma by associating with some folks"? i don't understand what u mean.

Ideally, karma is a consequence of our own actions, which can be carried over to future life. The people we relate with, in our daily lives affects our thoughts, how we feel; anger, hatred, love, desires. We may choose to act on these feelings. We can also create Karma through buildup of latent energy of unexpressed karma. It adds up to the wheel. Like Sigmund Freud once said, 'Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways.'

    Beliefs or desires?

Both. For instance I believe in a cartoon universe.

There are some really nasty things out there, and I agree with you.

It is the Creator's love of knowing Himself. It's either that or nothing, and if the belief of the first distortion is right, none will regret any of their experiences at the end.
