    Hey everyone,

I some times feel frustrated when I forget to remember higher principals "in the heat of the moment" during my workaday 3rd density incarnational life. I will notice moments of impatience, anger, jealousy... and many other things, which upon reflection, could have been avoided by remembering to remain in the moment. Part of the reason that I so frequently find myself in these situations may be that there are so many different things to remember. I know that sounds a bit silly, but at least for myself, I will sometimes remember to balance one thing and completely overlook another.

Therefore I came up with the idea to have a week of balancing one specific thing. I don't mean to say disregarding all other balancing acts, but simply being mindful of one thing in particular so as to "hold your focus" and make sure that particular thing is studied by the self as we interact with others.

Expanding on this, I thought since we're a like minded group of spiritual students, maybe we could all participate in this and make it in to a kind of a game. We'll pick things we want to work on, and as a group practice that particular thing for a week. During that time or at the end of it, we will return to the forum and post our experiences. What were our victories, what were our failures? What did we learn about ourselves, and etc?

If you would be interested in this, please post back here and give a shout. If there is significant interest, I'll go ahead and start a new thread at the beginning of next week with that weeks' subject. In your reply, please add what you would like to work on.

Since I'm obviously first, I would like to suggest working on the concept of balancing impatience with patience.

LOL…the first thing that came to my mind as soon as I read your post? I could handle myself better on the highway. I’m much calmer these days than previous years, but I still catch myself slipping into…old habits and behaviors. I have a fairly long workday commute on crowded highways (50+ miles each way), so the chance of reacting negatively to my fellow drivers behavior sort of sits simmering on the back burner so to speak….waiting for a chance to manifest at some perceived vehicular slight.

I'd love to participate! As the new week dawns, I will keep the balance of patience with impatience at the front of my mind...

Good idea... I'd like to work upon being actively compassionate instead of passively. Find new ways to express myself in this, instead of quietly being in the background

It sounds like we can go ahead with a small group next week, with the theme being patience / impatience, if that works for all of you. Then we can go the following week on to an anti-road rage theme (perhaps that could be extended to any form of transportation with others?) And then the week following that one we can examine being actively compassionate vs. passively compassionate. Does this work for everyone?

I will start a new thread before the start of next week with the patience theme information so we can discuss the subject in more detail and report back out experiences as the week goes by. I used the title 'Project Catalyst' sort of randomly and it sounds a little vauge, anyone have a better idea for a title? I'd like this to be as collaborative as possible! Smile

Glad to have you all on board! I think this might just be a wonderful way to make some solid 3rd density progress.

P.S. SO funny- the bring4th computer system didn't allow me to post this at first, because it was too quickly submitted after the last post I made. (Too impatient!) Ahh, universe, you never let me down do you?
