I have this fear of blank movie theater screens.
When dreaming, I have a fear when I see blank billboards.

And at night when sitting in the living room and the big screen tv is off, I get a little fear too.

This would freak me out, just drifting towards an empty screen.

Is it something with the subconscious? Why do I have a fear of an empty theater screen?

Maybe because we're used to distractions, so when nothing is happening to amuse our minds we get anxious? Being afraid of being anxious is different though.

Interpreting dreams is most effective when done by ones own self I believe. Because you know your experience best.

    Interesting.

I thought because a blank screen could be subliminal.
You don't know what message you're getting when the screen is blank.
It could be programming you for anything, and you don't know what it is.
Maybe it's a fear of the unknown.

You watched too many scary movies.

Why do you stare at blank screen , anyway? What are you doing in the movies? There has not been anything good and non-brainwashing coming out of Hollywood in 10 years.

Big screen TV - I don't even have TV in the living room. Nor do I like it there, it creates a permanent distraction. It's off in the side room, where it can't possibly be neither big screen nor latest , "smart" spying-on-you models.

If you can, I wish you'd do the same. You'll immediately notice how much more time you'd have. And how clear you start thinking.

I don't watch scary movies hardly at all.

I watch things like Wreckless Eating on YouTube where they do eating challenges, and those are mostly funny.

It's hard not to notice the blank screen when I'm in the living room meditating.

I have a lot of free time. I just noticed I had these fears.

Have you ever tried to ask the fear why it is here?

Ok, I just ask you and Unity in another thread, and I'll ask here as well. Because I think you are very confused.

Do you have Friends? Or just 1 , real, Friend.

You seems to be very lonely, my heart goes out to all you guys when I see how lonely you guys sound.

    No real friends.
Every one I have reached out to stops contacting me after a bit.
Though I have dropped the ball with others.
I'm trying to make new friends.

please, do. It seems to be hard in the country where everyone is STS and is "designed" by the system from school to be "individual", which is against human nature.

But, hopefully, you'll find more undamaged souls Smile
