Today I had a pear, 2 apples, blueberries, 4 bananas, an avocado, and goji berries. And I'm only half way through the day...

Eat more fruit!!! It's the best tasting food, period.

    Hi, good food fans.

Don't forget to forget the "dirty dozen", too !! B-)
    Apples are near the top!

"Organic" is the answer, as Guardian said.

    Blue skies.

    Hi good food fans!

    flinderrose asked:
Quote:. . .which season are best to eat fruits and vegetables. . .?
Welllll. . .from the fruit/vegetable's point of view? it is the hot season when they grow. B-)
From the human's point of view? it is the season when he eats them, in the now.
We have to import them, BUT it has to be from not too far away, for ecological reasons.

And, it MUST ALL be ORGANIC/BIOLOGICAL !!! No OGM or M0SANT0's or/and similars' poisons !!

    Blue skies.

Get in a CSA and they'll get you local organic produce. I enjoy whatever is locally harvested with mine. (Which happens to be apples, Asian pears, and kiwi berries!)

Yikes. You're not really going to eat nothing but fruit all day, every day, are you? So not a good idea.

In the uk the general rule is 5 a day. Fruit/veg. I think thats a fair balance.
