Hypnosis Regression

Hey everyone, I'm currently trying to schedule a Quantum Healing Hypnosis session in the immediate future and I am pretty nervous. I was just wondering if anyone who has done it or anything similar would like to shed some light on the technique and regression therapy in general. Thanks in advance.

I agree with Adonai-1.
If a hypnotherapist, or a consulting hypnotist, doesn't agree to meet and talk with you for free before any scheduled session, drop them.

There are many different certifications. I wouldn't see anyone who is not a credentialed member of the NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists).

We all have an internal morality, and spirituality, and an internal self-protective logic. This is called your critical faculty. No hypnotist can screw with that. If told that you are descending a staircase, or that you are flying, or that you are on a beach …….. etc. ………. There should be no logical or moral or spiritual objection to that. If told that you are jumping off a cliff, or cutting off your arm, you won't do it. Your critical faculty will stop that.

A good hypnotist will ask you where you would like to go to relax, and will then take you to the sanctuary of your choosing. You should also be asked: fear of water? fear of any particular animal? fear of flying? etc. so that your induction may be pleasantly designed for you.

Hypnotizing people to steal or murder is strictly Hollywood. Unless, of course, the client is already a thief or a killer.

The Hypnotist is in charge of the induction, and only the induction.

During induction, your job is to allow yourself to drift into trance. This is done, only by fully trusting the hypnotist, and by going along with, and believing everything said to you.

If, during induction, you are told about how all your muscles are falling smooth and going limp, just imagine and pretend that that is true. If the hypnotist doesn't also say, that your heart and lung muscles are working just fine, and that breathing is easy, that your heart is easily pumping warm and oxygen rich blood throughout your body, and that all of your organs are working as they should even as you relax, then you're not with a professional.

Hypnotherapy helps you go within, so you may find your own answers. The hypnotist does not know your answers, you do.

I've no idea what "Quantum Healing Hypnosis" is. Probably just more words to describe what we do.

If, during PLR (Past Life Regression), a client discovers that their insomnia relates to a past life of being attacked while asleep, or of being a homeless bum finding it difficult to find a safe place to sleep every night, or of sleeping through an incident they should have been awake and dealing with …….. etc. …….. Or, if during PLR the client discovers that a constant and inexplicable pain is caused by a past life where you were a cripple, or where you were stabbed in the stomach, or where you died by having your head cut off ……… etc. …….. Then it is the hypnotists job to help you realize that that was then, and this is now. That both the circumstances of that time, as well as your constantly growing wiser soul, are no longer as they were then. That perhaps some self forgiveness, or forgiveness of others, would be wise ………. etc.

So, the hypnotist will never create your answers, but would try to help you to interpret your answers. And again, your critical faculty, will automatically accept or reject whatever it is told.

If no audio tape is made of your session and given to you, you're with the wrong hypnotist. Sometimes I burn a CD and mail it to my client, and sometime I just download audio into my iTunes and use "You Send It" to email same to my clients. In the old days cassette tapes made that all easier.

It is safe, and is not dangerous. You will not be unconscious, but the audio is necessary because you won't remember everything even if you think you do.

Especially the info about the NGH. I have faith that this gets me to where I want to be. Thanks again for the advice. By the way Quantum Healing Hypnosis is basically a different "type" of Past Life Regression.
