Just a quick hello from a newbie. Lots to read here on the forum, most of it written by people far more advanced in their studies, but that means I get to learn. I've made a new blog to coincide with my third reading of the books, to help me 'live it'. I'm a person who seems to need instructions, so that I can feel I'm making the best go of it for myself and everybody in my life.

I've always been interested in the Tarot and the archetype forum and related pages will be my homework for some time, I think.

Thanks for being here! Wish there were some people in my real life I could get together with over a cuppa and chat.

    you're in Essex?

there's a very friendly chap called Nicholas, and he's a genuine Law of One enthusiast.

I've been a member here for 3 and a half years, and out of the hundreds of people that have passed through, he is one of the most earnest, sincere, and unfake people you will ever meet.

He lives with his partner, someone who goes by the username of 'furry rabbit' in Essex.

No doubt he will see this thread in time, but if you want to get in contact with him directly, you can PM him.

he's also arranged a meetup with another member previously, and it went quite well by the sounds of things Smile

    Welcome Dawn Chorus.

I'm curious, does your name reference the radio phenomenon between .2 kHz and 100 kHz which you can receive on a V.L.F. receiver during sunrise?

Or is it in reference to the singing of birds?

I'm just asking because "Dawn Chorus" is the radio name given to a particular type of what used to be considered "interference" in the V.L.F. radio spectrum.
It occurs during sunrise and is very haunting.

You usually can't hear it until it heterodynes (mixes), with another signal.

It is very beautiful to hear. It's something you'll remember for a lifetime.

                                                          Best Regards
                                                              Jamie

    Thanks lovely people.

Jamie, I'm so excited about what you've written!  The dawn chorus does something to me which I can't explain. It's so moving. I love garden birds anyway, feel an affinity, and I thought I remembered that the earth makes the same sound as the dawn chorus (sound of the spheres, or something) which is why I chose my name, but maybe I'm thinking of that radio interference because I once spent a long time on a website listening to all those strange signals, found it fascinating. I'm going to look it up now.

Plenum, thanks for the info about Nicholas, that's great. I'll see about PMing him.

Edited: this is something like what I must have stumbled across once:

Here's a not so quick hello from another newbie who's only got 2 read through's.  I did live the Law of One for a while and actively sought out Work in Consciousness.  Please tread carefully my friend, when dealing with Archetypes you can begin literally altering your personality shell, if you aren't gentle, careful, and thoughtful and very sincere with yourself, you may really hurt yourself.

You'll notice your consciousness will be altered, your reality will feel and be perceived differently at times, not in a trippy psychedelic way (even if that's what happened to me and a few others it'd seem, with the trippiness for me coming in the form of synchronicities you intuitively just see happening), but in a more serene and glowing way, or at times if you're very undisciplined in your aim and intent, the more harsh and sinister side to reality (just got done with that~)

So I suggest to you to discipline yourself in the way of the Law of Attraction before you take up the full Law of One experience, which is described very elegantly in Carla's book, Living the Law of One 101, The Choice, which uses a Chakra laid out set up to help explain to you how to live the Law of One starting where it all begins to take effect on you, at the Energy Body, the Chakras.

I went with a Law of Attraction applied to the Law of One desires of mine to perform my Work in Consciousness, at the time it worked very well, but I got to a point where I did polarize too quickly, and the come down was...not ideal.  My perspective became dislodged and reality just didn't really seem to fully make sense, but I was so pooled into Faithfully doing the work that I didn't really notice until I had fallen out of the range of consciousness where I was just blissful, and began returning to the lower perspectives of reality.

Your perspective will change.  You will feel power and happiness as you practice the Law of One in Service to Others, if you can truly provide unconditional love, you will have no problem.  Use Ra's balancing techniques in conjuncture with Carla's method of meeting your Inner Dark Self at the Outer Sanctum of the Courtyard of the Heart and you will not only open up your own love towards yourself and all others, you'll begin to see love.

You should also ideally, as should anyone interested, seek out Love, look for it in the air, in the faces of others, in the actions of the tree blowing and the design of the tree, look for Love where ever you can see, the attempt alone is empowering, and if you maintain that looking, that seeking, which is what we ultimately all seem to seek in it's infinite ways (that being Love), you'll for sure feel something changing inside of you, transmuting or crystallizing, but something will click on and you will notice something has changed.

Please, if you put down the work out of exhaustion, meet love with kindness and do not dip into the negative emotions or desires until you've relaxed a bit and let go of a bit of any excess polarization potential you've acquired, as that potential will erupt negative intention all around you and throw you or dislodge you out of your current place.  Which as I said, is not fun.  I didn't notice it at first, utilizing pure faith in the Law of One and the Law of Attraction.

And finally, intensity should be added in to what the Law of Attraction will return to you.  If you provide fuller Love in stronger intense ways you'll find that level of intensity returns as well.

So please, if you take up this work, find a way to control your thoughts as well, meditate daily, and try not to attract while polarizing those self-attracted negative things.

And as far as greetings go, don't worry about them too much until you actually know you are experiencing one.  Otherwise, treat them as self-greetings from your shadow self, and respond to all greetings as if they are also a service and an aid despite trying to stop your work, for it's in itself catalyst to be accepted and in time learned from fully.

Welcome, try not to embarrass yourself too much.  I know I already have~  ZZzz Heart

Yes very much like that, but the source is different.

Basically this emanates from between the Magnetosphere down to about the D-layer of the Ionosphere.
It sounds very much like being in the forest, just after dawn,.....with a bit of haunting Flange and Chorus effect.

There were tons of circuits designed around guitar and audio amps built by freaky kids like me in the 1970s to hear this.

When I was about 10 years old,...I used to drive my family crazy listening to a modified Navy RAK receiver,.......at 6:00 a.m,.....with the audio gain "cranked to eleven",.........trying to listen for these signals to peak above the normal radio "flotsam and jetsam" that plagues this frequency range.

    Man,......I was a nutty kid,...........still am!

    Hi dawnchorus,

Awesome that you are from the south/east of England! I specifically live in Colchester with my fiancee Heidi (furry rabbit) and would be only too happy for a cuppa some time.

Reading up I see you are also inspired by the birds tweeting! The Blackbird has saved me from commercial radio psychosis many times in my place of work! (work colleagues eh?) There is definitely something special about that birds tone and melodies.

As Plenum say's I regard myself as a student of the Law of One. I aim to become as devoted as the mods one day haha.

Welcome to the community and hope we can meet up some time  Heart

"with a bit of haunting Flange and Chorus effect." I don't know what this means, Jamie, but I love it, haha. Listening to a modified RAK Navy receiver (I'm trying to understand Wink) at 6am makes you sound like a wonderful ten year old. In the 70s I was listening to a little solid state transistor radio under my blankets at midnight, but that pales in comparison to your activities.

Sabou, thank you. Not too much rough and pointy, I hope. Smile

Nicholas, hello. I'm close enough to Colchester for a bus journey to an olde tea shoppe. I'll PM you. Stuck my neck out a bit this week, as I am NOT used to putting my head above the parapet since I got an online stalker. Got keylogged for several years and am still avoidant. Pointy, sticky catalyst! At least in a cafe I'd know I was talking to you and not some made up persona like stalky stalker does. Real life, that's what I like.

Kate Bush's album Aerial uses birdsong, especially blackbird, to wonderful effect.
